Kufr and Iman could never come together since the beginning. They are always apart from each other. There is no chance that Iman and Kufr can be together. That is impossible. Therefore, this state will go on. It is a test for humanity. Some people pass the test and some people fail the test. It is a test, but it is not like the tests of this world. Those who fail this test will stay forever in hell. And those who pass the test will go to paradise with the permission of Allah.
Therefore, don’t be sad. Our Holy Prophet tells not to be sad. Mu’mins should not be sad too. This state is something appointed by Allah and given to people as a test. The ranks of all Mu’mins will be raised with that test. Their stations will be raised. It is for those who are patient and stand by the way of Allah.
May Allah make us steadfast. We ask that Allah gives guidance to others. We don’t say anything else.
Guidance is from Allah. And if they have their share of it, they will be saved Insha Allah.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

MONTH OF BARAKAH FOR THE UMMAH Tuesday, 4 April 2023 / 13 Ramadan 1444 Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah.
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Shahru Ramađāna Al-Ladhī `Unzila Fīhi Al-Qur`ānu Hudan Lilnnāsi WaBayyinātin MinaAl-Hudá Wa AlFurqān’’ “The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur`an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.’’(Qur’ān 02:185).
The month of Ramadan is a holy month. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is praising it in the Qur’an. It is the month of guidance. It is the month when the Qur’an was descended. It is a month full of Barakah. Allah ‘Azza waJalla gives ten Barakah to one. In Ramadan, He knows how much to give Himself. Hundred to one, seven hundred to one, or seven thousand to one; however much He wills. Therefore, Shukr to Allah, many believers appreciate this month. They perform worship and pray, they do charity and goodness. And there is a great gain in doing so.
The worship of this month is Tarawih prayer. Also, there is Zakat Fitrah. We must not forget about Zakat Fitrah. It is for every individual. Rich ones give more, and poor ones give as much as they can afford. Some people don’t have anything at all. They can give less, not necessarily as much as it is required by the Religious Affairs. They have no means. They give as much as they can, and Allah will accept itInshaAllah. There is Zakat then. Zakat can be given any time of year. But giving
Page245
it in Ramadan brings more Thawab, and you don’t mix up. It makes a year from Ramadan to Ramadan. You give Zakat of this year and attain its virtue which is at least seven hundred to one instead of ten to one. Even if you don’t give everything all at once but put it aside and give later, you will have separated it in this month and it will be put aside without mixing it with your property. You will give it to needy people then.
Therefore, this month is a blessed month. It is a generosity of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to Ummati Muhammad. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says it is the month of the Ummah. And He gives to the Ummah from His generosity and abundance. May Allah help us all perform this worship and do goodness. May we not be lazy in this month.
Some people are not fasting. Some people, may Allah protect us, have no idea about it. They have no idea about neither this month nor the year. They go by eating and drinking in vain. May He guide them. We are not saying anything, because everything is in Allah’s Hand. We must not criticize them but feel pity that it is not meant for them.
Shukr to Allah for giving us this beauty, for letting us appreciate it. Appreciation is an important thing. Who doesn’t appreciate doesn’t benefit from anything. Who appreciate benefit from its worth and their ranks increase because of this worth. May Allah let us reach more beautiful days and more beautiful Ramadans. I always say, may it be together with the spreading of Islam and appearance of Mahdi ‘alayhi ssalamInsha Allah.
May it be near Insha Allah.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

SEEK GOOD KNOWLEDGE Wednesday, 5 April 2023 / 14 Ramadan 1444 Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah.
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Seeking knowledge is Fard (obligatory) for believers. Knowledge is something people need to live well. It is something necessary in order to know what is good and what is bad. Therefore, it is Fard. For every believer to learn and to know what is good is Fard.
It is Fard al-Ayn, it is the duty for everyone. Fard al-Kifayah is when someone does it, the rest may not do it. Certainly, not everyone is going to become a scholar when they attain knowledge. When they learn little by little and continuously, as they learn, more understanding opens and they become better. They know what they do. Sometimes people think they are doing goodness but do something bad.
Therefore, we must learn everything. The things that must be done; your actions, behavior within a family or outside, in the street or in the market; all of them, Shukr to Allah, the religion of Islam teaches about everything. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla made Islam in such a way. There is knowledge in Islam that teaches everyone what to do.
Therefore, from the infancy of people till the grave, Islam teaches everything that should be done. Step by step as much as they can learn.
Page247
Certainly, some people must learn more. There are things that some people have to learn in their lives for the pleasure of Allah, in order to go on the way of Allah. Allah gives everyone according to their understanding and capacity.
Therefore, it is beneficial for people to learn what is good. People nowadays don’t learn good things. They are learning bad things and show up as good ones. And then there is no peace. They look for happiness. But there is no more happiness, no more humanity. There are all kinds of bad things. They say “I learned a lot”. What they learnt is not knowledge. They are teaching ignorance most of the time. And people are teaching it to each other.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to learn good knowledge. That is what is necessary. The rest is not only unnecessary, it is something harmful. May Allah protect us from the evil of shaytan. The place where the true beautiful knowledge is next to Murshids, because they keep it the same way they’ve seen from our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
As we said, there are many people who say they are Muslim and show other things. They are cheating people and ruining them. They will be ruined both here and hereafter. May Allah protect us from all of them. May Allah protect us from people like them and from people who are enemies of Allah.
May Allah give strength to our Iman.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

EVEN BREATHING IS SUNNAH Thursday, 6 April 2023 / 15 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Thanks to Allāh we are together in Ramaḍān the Blessed. May Allāh give us more Ramaḍāns and better days, Insha Allah. And with the honour of Islām may we be with Mahdī‘alayhi s-salām, Insha Allah. We always make this du‘ā’.
Ramaḍān is a gift of Allāh for us. We wish it to be blessed. It`s a gift of our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam. It is his way. To enliven these days on this beautiful way... To enliven them means giving them life. Giving life to dead hearts is the attribute of our Holy Prophet. Whoever follows him and walks on his way will be enlivened, shukr to Allāh Those who believe in Allah are alive. With our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam hearts are alive. His way, his beautiful way, following his sunnah, everything he did, following intentions, his sunnah intentions, this gives us Allah grace. It gives Allāh`s barakah and all goodness from Allāh. Following our Holy Prophet`s sunnah gives us these.
Today in the morning, one of our brothers asked a strange question. I didn`t understand it at first. Then I asked our brothers what he was talking about. I was checking to see if I misunderstood it. He asked a question. It was a very strange question. I thought, maybe I misunderstood it, as he had asked in English. I thought, “What is it? Did I hear it right or wrong?“ I asked our Reza Efendi, “What is he saying?“ He asked, “Is
Page249
it sunnah to breathe?“ I didn`t understand it completely. Then we made it clear.
Even breathing, when you take a breath, you should make intention to be following his sunnah, “as our Holy Prophet breathed“– and then take your breath. You will have revived the sunnah even in that, even though it is just a breath. You take it in and out and there is no difficulty in it. People cannot live without it but you should do everything as it is a sunnah of our Holy Prophet. We drink water as sunnah because he drank it. We eat food as his sunnah. We walk, get up and sit down – we should make intention to do everything as the sunnah of our Holy Prophet so that all our actions are at least imitating him as much as we can. We cannot perform most sunnah but these things are given by Allāh. We cannot live without them.
We will have done them as sunnah of our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam for free. Certainly, Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla will reward us for that, because the holy word of our Holy Prophet says, “Whoever revives my sunnah in the end of times will attain the reward of one martyr, ten martyrs, or a hundred martyrs.“ So much is given to those who revive the sunnah of our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu‘alayhiwasallam.
Therefore, how lucky are we to be from the ummah of our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam. Every moment is goodness, barakah, and beauty for us. It revives our hearts, Insha Allah.
We are, Alhamdulilah, we come again together in this blessed month of Ramaḍān. Month of Ramaḍān, which it is gift from Allāh for nation of Prophet, Ummat Muḥammad ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam. And very blessed month. Everything, Allāh with His generosity, reward – double and triple, and hundred times, seven hundred times He give everything. So, we are happy to be in this month. Allāh make it we can reach more bless, more beautiful than this month, year after year, maybe with Sayyidunā l-Mahdī (as) to see whole world with light of Islām, Insha
Page250
Allah. This is our wish. But also, even now, Allāh we are thanking Allāh for this blessed thing, gift He gave us. We are very happy with Him to make us to do, to be happy with this month.
Many people who not following, they are, they are not in life. They are dead people, their heart dead. No light, no life in their heart. Important thing not to be you are alive going around. Important, very important to have your heart to be alive. Who has his heart alive, never die. Even he is in grave, he is not dying because his heart still with connection with Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And this connection through Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam: to follow him, to love what he love, to hate what he hate, to do what he doing every time, to follow his sunnah – to follow his order, to follow everything he done. And this morning something happened, I was very – very strange question from one of our brilliant derwīsh.He ask me something, but I didn`t, first I couldn`t, I didn`t understand. Because he speak English, I thought maybe I hear wrong. So, I ask. It was very strange, very deep question. So, I ask Reza Effendi what he said this, translate to Turkish.
He said, asking, “Is breathing, to breathe it is sunnah?“ I thought, “What is he said?“ So Reza Efendi, “Yes he said, you understand right. If it is when you breathe, it is sunnah?“ I was thinking whole this from morning now. Alhamdulilah, he said very good question and very good thing. Even you are, when you breathe you say, “This is Prophet ṣalláLlāhu‘alayhiwasallam done this. We`re doing this also.“ Allāh reward you as sunnah, Insha Allah. Even drinking, eating, everything doing –“Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam doing this, we imitate him“– also Allāh will reward you. Because, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wasallam done, because what Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam done, he said, “Everything I done, you do.“ It is sunnah. So, this is also Allāh will reward you.
So, how we are lucky even without breath we cannot live, without breathing we will die. But, if we take... So, even everything very easy to follow this sunnah. Very easy to follow sunnah of walking, going, com-
Page251
ing, drinking, eating. Doing everything what Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam done in his life, everybody, every human can donethis. But they not saying, “We are following sunnah of Prophet,“ they not have this good reward from Allāh. But, when you do this, you are following Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam even without any tiring, without spending anything, you, Allāh will reward you as you follow Prophet`s, ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, sunnah.
Alhamdulilah we are lucky nation, Nation of Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam. Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla, every time He make occasion for people to get this blessed. Alhamdulilah, Allāh make us, whole time remembering Him, to be with Him, Insha Allah, to love Him and we are sure we will be with Him, Insha Allah.
Allāh bless you.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

ABOUT FASTING Friday, 7April, 2023 / 16 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
We can never say enough about the virtues of this holy month. Fasting has been given to every nation. It was required of every Muslim since Ādam ‘alayhi s-salam, of every prophet on the way of Allāh جلج لا .لھ Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla says in āyatu l-karīmah that it is required of us to fast as well. In fact, even some people without religion, or in perverse religions, fast in order to train their egos. But what they are doing is in vain, a useless thing. Unless it leads to Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla, whatever you do is useless. It has no benefit. You must be on the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla in order to receive benefits both apparent and hidden. Material and spiritual benefits are for people who are with Allāh.
How lucky are those who are given this. There are many people who describe themselves as Muslims. Most of them neither fast, nor pray, nor know anything about the religion. Although they say they are Muslim, this good fortune didn`t happen to them. May Allāh give guidance to them. May He let them taste this beautiful taste. This taste cannot be found elsewhere. This beautiful taste is not found in disobedience and sins. It comes only with faith. People taste it in everything they do then. Otherwise, what they do is useless.
There is nothing but harm, because you are feeding your body. Feeding the body is for animals. It is peculiar to them. We feed their bodies to make them fat and to be able to benefit from them. But the feeding of
Page253
your body is harmful to you. The larger your body gets, the more harmful it is. They know this, and everyone knows this. The larger you are, the heavier your weight is, the more harmful it is. Therefore, they always warn you not to gain weight. It is obvious anyway.
Therefore, you must feed your soul, not just your body. And the soul is fed by worshiping, by praying, fasting, and giving charity, by obedience to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, by loving our Holy Prophet and people whom he has showed us to love, by loving the believers. All these things are for your benefit, to feed your soul. They are food for the soul. If you do them, even if your body is small then, it doesn`t matter. But otherwise, if you don`t care about these things, ḥāshā mina l-ḥuḍūr (heaven forbid), you become similar to an animal one doesn`t even want to name. They are the fattest ones. May Allāh protect us.
In Ramaḍān, fasting has its adab and rules. And people must break their fast according to its rules. Our Holy Prophet says, “Make ifṭār with dates.“ Dates have all the nutrients in them, enough for the body. If a person eats five to six dates a day, or ten dates, he may skip eating other things. The body will have taken its nutrition. But of course, there is no need to do that. Break your fast with dates and then eat other things. If not, break it with water, says our Holy Prophet. Sometimes you cannot find dates. Break your fast with water. Of course, after thatcome prayers, tarāwīḥ and tahajjud.
Also, our Holy Prophet told us to wake up for saḥūr. Certainly, there is benefit in the appointed time of saḥūr. Our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam says saḥūr is barakah. Making saḥūr brings barakah to people. Get up in order to attain that barakah. “Wa-law bisharbatin min mā’.“ Even if you drink a sip of water with the intention of making saḥūr, it is valid. Our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wasallam tells us to do that. Don`t go without saḥūr. Also, what is eaten in saḥūr is not questioned, we read in hadīthsharīf just now. Allāh won`t take its account. Neither the food of saḥūr, nor of ifṭār, nor that eaten in brotherhood will be questioned. Our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi
Page254
wa-sallam says saḥūr is what distinguishes us from other nations. Other nations used to eat just once, only at ifṭār. They ate in the evening. And then they didn`t eat for twenty-four hours. But for it to be barakah for us, for our health, and to reward us, Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla gave saḥūr to us, to Ummati Muḥammad. May Allāh bless it.
And may Allāh give guidance to those who don`t fast so that they do it. Some people boast and act arrogant about breaking their fast in front of people. May Allāh give guidance to them as well. We have nothing to say to them. They are people to feel sorry for. They must not boast. And we should not be angry at them. We should feel sorry for them that Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla didn`t give it to them. Don`t boast, “You and I are fasting, but he is not.“ May Allāh protect us. Allāh didn`t give it to him. But He gave it to you. And this is important. May Allāh make this beautiful state remain with us. May He make us steadfast, Insha Allah.
Alhamdulilah, we are again, we speak about Ramaḍān, fasting. Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla, in holy Qur’ān saying, “We make fasting, Ramaḍān, for you obligatory as We make for other nations before you.“ So, fasting, it was from Ādam‘alayhi s-salām until now, whole nations, prophets, they was ordering for their nation to do it. Of course there was different shape for this. But normally, when you are fasting, you cannot eat, you cannot drink – and no smoke also.
Some people who they want to make fitnah in Islām, “Smoking it is not, you can, [does] not spoil fasting.“ No, when you, by you know, but, if you are going around and there is smoke, it is no problem. But, if you take, and smoke, it is – you finish your fasting. So many kind, but the main thing, it is this. But now, even these people, they make fast as they like. They only: you cannot eat meat, you cannot eat this. But, normally, fasting, it must be without eating, without drinking anything.
Alḥamdulilāh, we are, from Allāh`s mercy for us, He gave us this month, because before also there was more than one month fasting. And also, fasting from twenty-four hours. Only once, you break your fast.
Page255
They eat after maghrib, and when finish [what] they eat, cannot eat anything more until next day. For this, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam saying for saḥūr, it is very important for Muslim. Because saḥūr[is] barakah, he said, and it is giving you power, to be more easy for you. And this is what Allāh give you. You must do it. Because to sleep and wake up it is difficult for people, many people they said we eat beforesleeping, we can make saḥūr. No, this is not saḥūr. This is late dinner. So, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam saying for saḥūr even one drop of water, if you wake up and drink, this is saḥūr. And saḥūr make you different from other nations. Other nations, they don`t have saḥūr– only once. You, Allāh give you this chance and you must be happy with this, and you drink and eat if you can. If not, you can, only one drink, and sleep. But, you must [make] intention. After, Allāh reward you, Insha Allah.
Everything Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam show us. And for breaking fast, he said, break fast with date. Date, it is also blessed. Allāh create this tree from Ādam‘alayhi s-salām, same earth. He createĀdam‘alayhi s-salām and create date tree. For this, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam saying, “Date is you are auntie,“ for tree. And so, in this fruit, it is, everything Allāh put in this fruit. Even if you, in day time, with some five or ten one, whole day you can, it`s enough for you to live. No problem, if you not eat anything [else] even, it is no problem. Everything in this. For this, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wasallam saying to make ifṭār, break fast, with date. Maybe, when you cannot find date, he said with water also you can break fast.
Prophet ProphetṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, he is our guide. You must, everything what he said, there is many benefit for us. Many good things for us. Because, fasting giving you for your spiritual power – spiritual food.Because, human being, Allāh create them for... not for only for eating, drinking. Without this, if you are doing only eating, drinking, without belief and accept and obey Allāh and Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, you are like this animal. Like animal, only they have, their purpose of their life to grow, to grow them, make them
Page256
big, and later you can use them for eating. But, if any human, he become bigger, fatter, nobody likes this. No, you only you think about not doing any good thing, just enjoying yourself, eating, eating, eating, even doctor, they are not happy with this. Your body not happy with this. But, if you are following and obeying, that time it`s different. Maybe you can, you are fat or you are slim or you are – this is not a problem. Problem, to be obeying Allāh. If you not obeying, so you are second type of human being. One type for ākhirah, one type for dunyā. For dunyā what they are doing? Animal, what they are doing. Animal – the same thing who following dunyā desires, this. If not, it will be worse than this animal.
Allāh– we are lucky Allāh guide us in this way and to know what we must do, what we must not do. This is also very important, not what they`re saying. Now, they have law, everything coming against humanity, against human being, and they are happy. People slowly, slowly accepting. But Allāh not accept this. Allāh call you to good thing. These people calling you to bad thing. Allāh help us.
Allāh keep us safe from these bad people, Insha Allah. For sake of Allāh, for sake of Prophet and for sake this holy month, Insha Allah.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

MAKE INTENTION FOR I’TIKĀF Sunday, 9 April, 2023 / 18 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Ramaḍān is almost over now. More than half of it is over. It has its forms of worship, one of which is i‘tikāf. I‘tikāf means spending the last ten days of Ramaḍān in a mosque or a place where they perform the prayer five times a day. It is the sunnah of our Holy Prophet. It must be made by at least one person in each country so that barakah comes, Insha Allah. Our Holy Prophet never skipped it. In fact, once he was occupied with something, I don`t remember what now, so he did it twice that year. He did his missed ten days first, and then he did it normally after the twentieth day.
Certainly, i‘tikāf must be made for ten days. However, people may do it less. When entering a mosque or a masjid, they write, “Nawaytusunnata l-i‘tikāf,“ above the door, which means, “I make intention to make i‘tikāf.“ You attain its thawāb (reward) then. I‘tikāf can be made any time of the year. But the best is to follow the sunnah of our Holy Prophet and make it in the last ten days, for those who can do so. For men, it is made in a mosque, in a masjid or in a dergâh where they pray five times. They must not talk about worldly things, but perform worship and eat, eat normally. It is not like the khalwah (seclusion). They can make saḥūr and eat in the evening. And there is permission to eat anything they like. There is no limitation. Its virtue is great in the eyes of Allāh. There is so much blessing for those who can do it.Shukr to Allāh, they do it all over the world. They do it in Masjidu l-Ḥarām, Masjidu lAqṣá, Masjidu n-Nabawī, the mosque of our Holy Prophet –in all of
Page258
these. I don`t know how it is now, in Masjidu l-Aqṣá. They used to make it there. Insha Allah, may Allāh give power to Islām with their barakah. May He protect us from fitnah and evil. As we live in the end of times, there is a lot of fitnah and evil. The more worship is performed, the more mercy will come down. Allāh will give His mercy in general. Because of one person, there is barakah and mercy for other people as well. It strengthens their faith, Insha Allah. May it be blessed. May Allāh reward those who perform this beautiful worship. May Allāh be pleased with them.
Alḥamdulilāh, we are now, days is going, running you cannot catch them. We are nearly coming to end of Ramaḍān. Because after, now in eighteenth of Ramaḍān, it is still maybe ten or eleven days, it will be, Insha Allah, Ramaḍān. If Allāh wants us, we can reach end, Insha Allah, with barakah. But in Ramaḍān, many ‘ibādah (devotions) to do, extra than other months. More barakah, more blessing from Allāh, for who doing. One of these also is i‘tikāf. I‘tikāf meaning, to stay in mosque or masjid or dergâh. Any place which five times they call adhān and praying, you can do i‘tikāf there. I‘tikāf: you must not go outside of this place, like mosque or dergâh or masjid. You must be inside. But for, maybe for wuḍū’ and other, you can go, but not going far away, shop or to seaside or other place – no, must be don`t go out of this. And it is ten days, normally, ten days.
Prophet`s ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam sunnah, he was, ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, when coming end of, last ten days, he he ordering to brought his – make something to separate from other people – and he put his pillow and something under him, to sleep there. Every year, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam he was doing this. But not farḍ, but sunnah. Sunnah, for, sunnah mu’akkadah, but... for everybody, but when somebody in a place, in a city can do this, it is enough for other people. For other people no need. There is need of course, but if they not do, not harm. But if somebody doing this, it will be bless for whole city, whole village. So, Insha Allah, it is very good Allah reward, we don`t know. He said, Ramadan I reward without to ask anybody, nobody know how I will reward who practicing, doing his worshiping in this
Page259
month. And this is also like khalwah, but khalwah we cannot do without permission. This, without permission you can do, Insha Allah. For men, as we said, in mosque or dergâh or masjid, but for women, ladies, in their house they must keep one room for themself, and doing this i‘tikāfthere. In this time – before, they can [could] do in Masjidu l-Ḥarām, Ka‘bah, and Masjid an-Nabawī and Masjidu l-Aqṣá. These three place, most holy place. We don`t know how these days, if they can, people, I hear they can, there is people doing there. Insha Allah, Allāh bless them and give their barakah, and for us also, in shā’aLlāh, because we can not go, we can not be that place. They are lucky, they can do more. Each one of these place, Allahreward them hundred: Masjidu l-Ḥarām, hundred thousand times. Prophet, Masjid an-Nabawī, a thousand. Masjidu lAqṣá, five thousand – so, it is five hundred, sorry. So our...what we get, more bless, we must try to do, but if we cannot try, we say our intention to be, Allāh reward us as these people, who they are lucky and they can be in that place.
Allah make this for Ummat Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, also as gift from Him Allāh He has endless gift for who following Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, and practicing, worshiping and imitate him. All this blessing and reward for you, this it will be the most valuable thing in next life. Next life – Turkish, they said, “No pocket for coffin.“ Coffin, they put you and they not put pocket to put money. When you go to ākhirah, only what you can take with you, what you done in your life. Allāh accept from us.And also just saying, i‘tikāf ten days, but who cannot make, they can do as much [as they can]: one day, two days, three days. Also even when there is, every in year, i‘tikāf can be when you go in mosque, you say, “Nawaytusunnata l-i‘tikāf.“ Ten minutes, half an hour, also you be in i‘tikāf. But the mostacceptable, the most valuable: in Ramaḍān, Insha Allah.
Allāh bless you, Allāh reward you, Insha Allah.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

MAKE IT EASY FOR US TO GIVE Monday, 10 April 2023 / 19 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. “Wa-ātū zzakāt“ (2:43). Giving zakāh is obligatory in Islām. Giving it in Ramaḍān, to give in this month is both good and full of virtue, and people won`t get confused whether a year has passed or not. Every year in Ramaḍān, even if they don`t distribute it, they should separate their money or property, or whatever [for zakāh] from the money that is their`s. It is the right of Allāh. It is the order of Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla and the right of poor people. Allāh gave our money. May He give barakah with it. But that is their right. We cannot interfere or touch it. You must give it when there is a need. It will be out of your possession then.
When Islām had just appeared, it came to our Holy Prophet slowly over 23 years. In the beginning he used to call it zakātu l-fiṭr. It was not for all property but for everyone. We call it fiṭr when you pay per individual. It was like this at that time. Afterwards, this zakāh became farḍ, obligatory. It is farḍ now. And the other one is like ṣadaqah (charity) zakāh. Fiṭr must be given before ‘Īd prayer so that it counts as fiṭr. When it is given after ‘Īd prayer, our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam says it is ṣadaqah. You are losing the virtue of and reward of fiṭr then.
But zakāh is a very important thing. Our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam says, “Mānaqaṣamālu‘abdin min ṣadaqah.“ Your property never decreases from giving ṣadaqah. And because

Page243

They do it in Masjidu l-Ḥarām, Masjidu lAqṣá, Masjidu n-Nabawī, the mosque of our Holy Prophet –in all of

He said, Ramadan I reward without to ask anybody, nobody know how I will reward who practicing, doing his worshiping in this

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani.
And because
