zakāhis farḍ, it won`t decrease at all. Moreover, it will increase. Whoever gives zakāh, his money, property, everything he has, increases and gets blessing. Therefore, we shouldn`t be scared. But shayṭān prevents people from giving. He is scaring them. He says, “It will be gone. Why are you giving so much?“ and doesn`t want it. There are many rich people who live in our Islamic world as Muslims. They have so much money that if they gave zakāh, there would be no poor or hungry people in this time. But Allāh is not letting them. Allah gave them money. But they think this favour is from themselves and don`t give. And when they don`t give, the more they don`t give, the more sins will be on them in ākhirah. They will be punished for it.
May Allāh protect us. May we have giving hands. May we not be scared of giving, Insha Allah. Because...
There is a story, a true story. There was a trader in Damascus. He had a Shaykh there, who was making ṣuḥbah. After ṣuḥbah, the trader told him, “I will ask something from you. Do me a favour.“ He asked, “What kind of favour?““I have money. I want to give zakāh but I cannot do it. I will take you home now. Bring a couple of people. No, bring three to five strong men with you. I will show you its place when we reach home. And I will tell you where the key is. Please hold me. Calculate zakāh from it and take out my zakāh. And don`t listen to me if I scream and shout. Take it and go.“ Indeed, they did this. They went home, and when they were about to take the money, he started shouting. He started swearing, asking them to leave it. But they had been instructed to open and to take the money, so they did it. They took the zakāh money and they left. Next day he came to thank them and said, “May Allāh be pleased with you. Otherwise I would not have been able to give it myself even if they cut off my head. That’s why I chose this way, so that my zakah is paid.”
There are people like this. There are many people who want to give but cannot. They have a lot of money and everything. They spend five times, hundred times the amount of their zakāh in other places but they
Page262
don`t give on the way of Allāh, as it is ordered by Allāh. May Allāhmake us from the giving ones. May Allāh make us from those who guard the rights of Allāh. This is taking away someone`s right. You are taking the rights of the poor. You are taking Allāh`s right. You are taking it away. May Allāh protect us.
Today, also Allāh say, “Wa-ātū z-zakāt“ (2:43). “Wa-aqraḍūLlāha qarḍan ḥasanan“ (57:18). Many āyah for zakāt. To give zakāt, it is order and obligatory, one pillar of Islām. Who has enough money, he must give this zakāt money, every year, once. Not like government, every day you must pay tax. Every, what, go, there, everything – they have you pay tax. You will not saying anything for this. But when once a year when you pay for Allāh you are not happy. Many people they are not happy. They are not doing this.
But it is obligatory from Islām and, before obligatory, there was in Ramaḍān also giving. They gave ṣadaqah–zakātu l-fiṭr they call it. that zakāt before it was for each people to give like barley, one barley, two kilo or three kilo barley or what equal from money. It was before zakāt. After, when zakāt coming, this become like ṣadaqah and it must be, they call it zakātu l-fiṭr. But in Ramaḍān, when you give it, you give zakātu lfiṭr. But after praying ‘Īd, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam saying it is ṣadaqah, not more zakātu l-fiṭr. So, we must give it before ṣalātu l-‘Īd, ‘Īd prayer. But zakāt, in one year – any time in year. When this money stay one year with you, you must pay for this each, each year you must pay for this. And, as we said, you can pay any time, but better and more blessed, more reward in Ramaḍān. So, in Ramaḍān you know you not mix, “I give this month? That month?“ and you give this money and you will be reward more, many time from other time.
But in Ramaḍān how we can do? You must in each Ramaḍān, what you have money leave this for one year, no need to ask, say from this Ramaḍān to next Ramaḍān, from Ramaḍān to Ramaḍān. Count your money and collect what, calculate what you must pay and separate this zakāt money from other money. Say this for Allāh, for poor people.
Page263
“From this money I put it beside in Ramaḍān and I will give for who are in need.“ And you can give it little by little, not use it anymore for yourself. So, it is acceptable as you pay whole in Ramaḍān, Insha Allah. And it is.
Don`t worry your money it will be less, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wasallam saying, “Mānaqaṣamālu min ṣadaqah.“ No money coming less from ṣadaqah even. How for zakāt? Zakāt more important, more, cannot be less money from zakāt. Zakāt make your money growing more and more. And, many people in this time, they`re not giving zakāt. Ṣadaqah, they never will. If they not give zakāt, ṣadaqah they will never give. We living in time, the most richest time in history – we are living in this time. They have money, gold, everything. If this people, rich people, they give their zakāt as what Allāh say, no more any poor people. You cannot find even poor people to give zakāt. No hunger, nothing. But, there are not maybe who give zakāt from rich people maybe ten percent or five percent maybe, I don`t know, Allāhua`lam. Because it is difficult for people, many people to give something, it is too difficult for them. Especially for rich people, it become more difficult, more hard for them to give.
Allāh make us from who give, they love to give, not to keep. Why they will keep? For ākhirah, for grave, for graveyard? No. Because, there is one story, real story. I don`t know if I said before.
In Damascus, there was one rich trader and he like to give zakāt and he coming for ṣuḥbah of mashāyikh. And one big ‘ālīm from Shām, he is, he like him. He [the trader] said, “I want to speak something for you. You can help me, if you can help me to do this.““Ah yes, what you want?“ He said, “I want to give zakāt, but I am, every time I cannot give, very difficult for me. For this, I like ask you to bring strong, five or six people, with you to my house and I will give you key, my money drawer key. And you will look, you will find there zakāt, you take. But before, you must this people hold me – strongly hold me. Because, I will be very angry, maybe do something wrong. So, maybe I will not give
Page264
you this. For this, I want you to bring these people and to hold and you take this and quickly go give what they need to people.“ And really they was coming to his house and when he sit, Shaykh coming to open. But [he] beginning to shout to swear, shout and swear, “Don`t take this! What are you doing?“ But, this people, they was holding him. He cannot move. So, they take and they left him. After, next day he come was saying, “Thank you Shaykh, I cannot, every time doing this. It`s too hard for me to give. But I must give, so this is the best way to control myself, to control my ego.“
So, it is, Alhamdulilah, he was, even he know he must give, and he was happy with this. This one example from people. Really, there is people... Before they was saying, “Your life or your money?“ Many people they can say, “My life, I keep my money, don`t take my money.“
So, Allāh make us to not be slave for dunyā. You must use this for yourself, for ākhirah, for poor people, for benefit of human being, Insha Allah. Allāh give us to make to give, to make it easy for us to give, Insha Allah.
Allāh give barakah for zakāt for all of you, Insha Allah.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

KEEP FAMILY ON THE WAY OF LIGHT Tuesday, 11 April, 2023 / 20 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
“Yā-ayyuhālladhīna ’āmanūqū anfusakum wa-ahlīkumnāran wa qūduhā n-nāsuwa-l-ḥijārah” (66:6). Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla saying: “Keep yourself safe from fire of hell. And your family, your children, keep them safe from all bad things.” It is important for – today we are making from English, we beginning, Insha Allah, later we make Turkish. It is very important, this, every time. Because, your children, your grandchildren, they will be... give you happiness. Allāh, SubhanAllah, He give happiness with them, here and hereafter.
This is very, very good thing Allāh gave for human being, to love. For human being or for other even. For other – animal also they have, they love too much their children. But until certain time. After, they are not looking at all for them. Maybe six months or more. After this, they are even not happy to be together with them. But human being – different. They are... Allāh give them this love, for if they are together forever, they will be, Insha Allah, together. This is... if they are way of Prophet, way of Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla, they will be helpful for each other in dunyā and in ākhirah. Because in dunyā also, to be love each other, help each other, respect each other, it is also very good feeling, very good thing, for anyone they have like this. And we are trying to be happy with them and they to be happy with us.
Page266
But time, it is difficult time, especially for non-believer world – Western, Eastern or anywhere. Now shayṭān, they very attacking to family, to destroy family, and to make people unhappy. They said, we must, we like to make people happy, but their main aim: to destroy and make family, human being, unhappy. This is what shayṭān and his followers most important job for themselves. They make this job for themselves: to make people misery, to make people unhappy, to make people only looking for their... looking after pleasure, to find a pleasure, but with this what they doing? Only they can get misery, and stress, and unhappiness, and every bad thing. They cannot... you cannot find good thing from bad thing. There is a saying. They said, ‘‘Who plant wind, he will harvest storm or hurricane.’’ This is what it will be, nothing else. You plant dirty thing, you can find good thing? No.
For this Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla saying, For what, how you will live in this life? For you, for your family, for relative, for other. This is very important in Islām: family. “Ṣilatu r-raḥīm”, to connect each other, brothers, aunties, uncle, father, grandfather, nephews, all these –ṣilatu rraḥīm. When you do this, Allāh happy with you, and you get barakah. When not do this, you... it is barakah going and misery coming. Allāh help us. This, we are living time, difficult time, but we are depend on Allāh to keep our family, our children, together, Insha Allah in way of Allāh, way of Prophet, in way of light, Insha Allah.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying “Yā-ayyuhālladhīna ’āmanūqūanfusakum wa-ahlīkumnāran wa qūduhā n-nāsuwa-l-ḥijārah” (66:6). Protect yourself and your family from the fire of hell. How should we protect them? By showing them the right way and by walking on the right way. It is not good to leave them alone. They are living, and you must teach them how to live. How will you teach them? You must do goodness. You must do beautiful things so that they are together with you.
Because this time we are living in is a very difficult time. It is the time when badness is shown as goodness and goodness is shown as badness. We are living in a tough time. But people must do good things no mat-
Page267
ter what, difficult or easy. It is important to save your family. Even if one by one people save themselves, the same will happen to others, Insha Allah. But if they leave them alone, everywhere will be full of evil. They are not teaching goodness to people. The biggest specialty of this time is showing goodness as badness and striving to make them get into all kinds of troubles and all kinds of punishments. They are showing and teaching badness so that they do it as much as they want. We are living in the time of shayṭān. The things he shows are not good for people. They are not good for anyone. Shayṭān wants people to live badly, in discomfort, in troubles and with all kinds of grief.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in Qur’ān: “Innamā yurīdush-shayṭānu an yūqi‘abaynakumu l-‘adāwatawa-l-baghḍā’a” (5:91). “Ashshayṭānuya‘idukumu l-faqrawa-ya’murukum bi-l-faḥshā’i” (2:268). Aw kamāqālAllāhuta‘ālá. The promise shayṭān gives you is to put you in trouble, to lead you to poverty. Because everything he says and shows is nothing but poverty. You will spend all your money on your ego and your desires. You will spend it on bad ways. And then will you be happy? You will not be. You will live a sad, troubled life.
Therefore, you must strive to protect your family, yourself and everyone from that way. May help us. The time we are living in is at one time difficult and beneficial. May AllāhAllāh give us from its benefits.
May He protect us from its badness, Insha Allah.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

ALLĀH INVITES US TO DO GOOD Thursday, 13 April, 2023 / 22 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Wa-ta‘āwanū ‘alá l-birri wa-t-taqwáwalāta‘āwanū ‘alá l-ithmiwa-l-‘udwān“ (5:2). ṢadaqaLlāhu l-‘aẓīm. Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, “Help each other to do goodness.“ He says “birr“ for goodness. The word birr is a word that covers all goodness. Praying, fasting, zakāh, ḥajj– all kinds of goodness are in it. He says, “Help each other to do good.“ Whoever helps to do good will be rewarded and attain thawāb. You can do this together as a community, and mercy will descend upon you. “Run towards goodness,“ says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And the whole life of our Holy Prophet was dedicated to doing good to other people and ordering goodness. This duty is obligatory for all Muslims, until Qiyāmah. They must do it for their own benefit and their own goodness. With this order, our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam is wishing only goodness for his ummah. He wants intercession and goodness for his ummah. He wants them to stay away from evil.
“Wa-lāta‘āwanū ‘alá l-ithmiwa-l-‘udwān“ (5:2). “And don`t help each other in badness,“ says this noble verse. Just like birr, “ithm“ is a word that includes all types of badness. It is a sin to do it. Ithm is doing sins, ḥarām and evil. It is with “th“ not “s“. Don`t help each other with it. If someone tells you, “Let`s do this. We can do it together,“– don`t help him. If he wants to do it, prevent him if you can. If you can`t prevent, don`t help him. Stay away. Tell him you won`t do it. Tell him, “I`m afraid
Page269
of Allāh. What you say is not a good thing. It is not good for you and it is not good for me. Be careful. I am not stopping you. But let me give you some advice. Don`t do this badness. Don`t do what is ḥarām. Don`t drink alcohol. Don`t commit adultery. Don`t steal. Don`t oppress people.“ You should advise him not to do all these things. Don`t help him but try to stop him. Allāh said to prevent him, according to each person`s strength. He says you should do what you can. If you can`t prevent him, say in your heart that you are not happy with it and that you won`t do it. It will give peace to people. Avoiding doing badness gives relief and happiness. And doing badness leads people to all kinds of hardship and all kinds of troubles.
There is no relief with troubles and ḥarām. There is no goodness and no peace. Peace, goodness and ease come with goodness and doing good things. May Allāh grant it to all of us, Insha Allah.
Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla ordering whole human being: Bismi Llāhi rRaḥmāni r-Raḥīm. “Wa-ta‘āwanū‘alá l-birri wa-t-taqwáwalāta‘āwanū‘alá l-ithmiwa-l-‘udwān“ (5:2). This for whole human being and for Muslim, but all human being they are invited to this good thing. Ordering you: help each other to do good –“birr“. There is very small word, but is come inside every good thing, meaning birr. From praying, fasting, helping people, ḥajj, zakāt– all this named birr, very small word. He said, Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla, ordering people to help each other with this. If you help people, you will reward, Allāh reward you with His generous reward for you. To be in His way, the best thing for whole human being. Birr meaning: come to peace, come to Islām also for who are not muslim. Don’t oppress people, don’t make trouble for people. Don’t do this. Only do good thing for you, for other people also.
So, to be together to help each other, because one man cannot be enough for help each other. We must be, Muslim especially, they must help each other, not to be... enemy, envy for each other. They must be together because when something good coming for others, it will be, must Allāh give you also, same good thing for you also. No need to be not helping
Page270
people. Maybe the system of world... They had many systems, it was like communist, socialist and capitalist system. This, they’re thinking: if other people they have something, it will be less from them. Not can be for them also. They saw old life, they are helping, not helping. They are trying to destroy others, to be everything for themselves.
This is for other: “Wa-lāta‘āwanū ‘alá l-ithmiwa-l-‘udwān“ (5:2).
Don`t help each other to oppress people, to steal from people, to do bad thing for people. Don`t do this, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla ordering. There are two orders here. One, to help each other. Other, to not help bad people, to not help these people. Don`t worry if they have other good thing. So, you must be happy because this also good for you. Not like this shayṭān and his followers who thinking, “If these people they have this, we will be... we cannot be happy. All this good thing it will go for them.“ But Islām saying the opposite. When everybody happy, everybody can be happy also. You also, you can be happy. This is difference between Islām and non-believer, this non-believer system.
Allāh help us to help each other, Insha Allah.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

BE READY EVERY NIGHT Friday, 14 April 2023 / 23 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Innā anzalnāhu fīlaylati l-qadr.“ (97:1) Allāh‘AzzawaJalla sent down Sūratu l-Qadr so that people know the value of Laylatu l-Qadr, the Night of Power, how virtuous and how precious it is.
On that night Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmush-Sha’n was sent down to our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam. When it was sent down, it was the 27th of Ramaḍān. But since then, Laylatu l-Qadr changes every year. Laylatu l-Qadr is better than a thousand nights. A thousand nights make nearly 80 years. And that is a lifetime for people. So the virtue of this one night is equal to a lifetime.
It has so many virtues. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has hidden this Night so that people keep looking for its virtue. They say, consider every night of the year as Laylatu l-Qadr, and consider everyone as Khiḍr (as). When Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim went to his first Shaykh Süleyman ErzurumîHazretleri and became affiliated with his dergah, dergahs were forbidden in that time. He went to his Shaykh secretly. He was a student then. He went to his dergah while a student. And he [the Shaykh] didn`t leave that dergah as it was forbidden to wear turbans. In order not to interfere with signs of kufr, in order not to see or interact with things of kufr, he never went out of the dergah. People used to go there. Dhikr and ṣuḥbah were made. The night when Shaykh Efendi came, the
Page272
Shaykh said these blessed words. He said, “Consider every night as Qadr and everyone as Khiḍr.“ Shaykh Efendi pointed to two things in these words. So the night when Mawlānā came there, it was Laylatu lQadr. The holy one saw the rank of our Mawlānā and pointed to the rank of Khiḍr in order to show his value. That holy being said these words at that time but certainly it is a lesson for everyone.
Our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam said the Night is sometimes on the 27th, sometimes on the 23rd, sometimes on the 24th, sometimes today. Sometimes it is on a rainy night, sometimes on a clear night. Certainly, what our Holy Prophet says is true. To ṣaḥābah who asked him, he showed how it would be in that year. He indicated when it would happen. It is not necessarily today. You must look for it. You should have such intention all year round and every night when you pray. And Allāh will certainly let you reach it. It is a big gift for the ummah of our Holy Prophet from Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla. It shows the barakah of the month of Ramaḍān when Qur’ān was sent down. Qur’ān was sent over 23 years. But actually, Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmush-Sha’n was sent into the heart of our Holy Prophet on Laylatu l-Qadr. It was given to him and sent to this world. Afterwards, coming bit by bit, our Holy Prophet completed it and changed his world.
Therefore, this night, Laylatu l-Qadr must be revived. Our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam says reviving is... Some people stay awake the whole night. But that is difficult. Shukr to Allāh, our Holy Prophet showed us the easy way. When you pray two raka‘āt and go to bed with ablution and then get up for tahajjud, that night is counted as revived in the presence of Allāh. You revive that night based on a blessed word from our Holy Prophet. And you attain its virtue. On this night...
Certainly, we must know every night as Laylatu l-Qadr in our du‘ā’. But who reaches Laylatu l-Qadr in the way told by our Holy Prophet attains great barakah. He will reach his goals, Insha Allah. Not to be confused, our Holy Prophet tells this du‘ā’: Allāhumma innaka‘afūwwun tuḥibbu l-ʻafwafā-‘fu‘annī. Allāh, You love forgiving. You love granting.
Page273
Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla loves forgiving people`s sins. Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla says He loves it as much as a man, with a camel, who had fallen asleep in a desert. When he woke up, there were neither his camel, nor a drop of water. Nothing. Everything was gone with the camel. He was left in the desert with nothing. While searching, his camel appeared all of a sudden. As much as that man felt happy, even more does Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. “When My servants ask for forgiveness, I feel so happy.“
Therefore, “Allāhumma innaka ‘afūwwun tuḥibbu l-ʻafwafā-‘fu ‘annī“– “You are forgiving. You forgive sins. You love forgiving. Forgive me.“ You should make such du‘ā’. May Allāh forgive us. May Allāh protect us. May Allāh let us reach this Night, Insha Allah.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla He send this sūrah. Sūratu l-Qadr, “Innā anzalnāhu fīlaylati l-qadr“ (97:1) – until the end, for honour of this Night. the holy blessed Night, Night of Power. It is a very strong, it is equal to thousand months. From, meaning – a thousand months it is like eighty years, something like this. It is equal to life of most of human beings. They`re around this age or less or more. But it is equal for one night equal for whole life. Why? Because Allāh Azza wa-Jalla give this for Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam. And on this Night, He sent whole Qur’ān from heaven to earth to human beings, to Prophet ṣalláLlāhu‘alayhiwasallam. And it was that time, when receive this, it was twenty-seven of Ramaḍān.
For this, people every time they celebrate Night of Power in twentyseven of Ramaḍān. But normally, it is only this when Qur’ān sent. Of course, Qur’ān sent in the twenty-three years He complete, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam saying Qur’ān. But normally, in whole Qur’ān sent to Prophet heart for this earth from this Night. And all this barakah bless coming from that time. But normally, for Night of Power...
What is Night of Power? Night of Power, if somebody can reach it and there is sometime in this, you can, Allāh give you what, everything you want. So it is, many people they are looking after this, and many of
Page274
ṣaḥābah was asking for Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam which night this. Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam this is he said, “It is secret because if I say to you which night, so you will not do anything, until only this night you can do and you can reach everything you want from dunyā and from ākhirah also, from this life and that life also.“ For this, to not make people too lazy, Allāh make it secret between days.
Whole year you can find, but most of you find in Ramaḍān. In Ramaḍān you can find and Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam every time he was saying it is twenty or twenty-one or twenty... Sometimes twentyfour, twenty-seven, twenty-six, twenty-nine. Every time he was saying this, because it was changing. Sometimes he said it is a clear night. Sometimes saying raining night. So he is most true saying – every year it changing, showing us it is changing. Don`t think it is in one night you can reach it. You must for this make it secret. The wisdom with this – to look each night, to pray and to be in ready for this Night.
Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam saying, who reach this Night and he reach it, he find, he must say: “Allāhumma innaka ‘afūwwun tuḥibbul-ʻafwa fā-‘fu ‘annī.““O our Lord, You are, forgive me. You love to forgive,“ and Allāh‘Azza wa-Jallareally He like to forgive, the most thing He like, He love. When He, from ḥadīth of Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, giving example for this as one of man he is travelling in desert with camel and everything he has in his camel – his water, food, shadow [shade]. And even he ride and going camel no need for anything in desert. And he fell asleep, he slept. When he wake up, camel was running away, nothing at all, even one drop of water. And this man running this side, running that side. After he tired and he stop, come put his head down. And what he will do? He just waiting for to die. And suddenly his camel coming in front of him. How he will be happy?
He said, Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, “O my Lord, I am your Lord, You are my servant.“ From his happiness, he mixed how he`s to say “O my Lord, Allāh, You are my Lord. I am your servant.“ He make it
Page275
opposite from his happiness. So Allāh‘Azza wa-Jalla said to Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam, He is more happy with who ask for forgiveness from Him. For this is Prophet`s du‘ā’. You must make this du‘ā’ every night because maybe some, one of them, it will be Night of Power:“Allāhumma innaka ‘afūwwun tuḥibbu l-ʻafwa fā-‘fu ‘annī.“ “Forgive me. You love to forgive. You happy to forgive. Forgive me O Allāh.“This is what Allāh give for Ummat Muḥammad ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam.
And all time, every time, one saying, Mawlānā was saying, his shaykh was saying: “You must know, you must think every night, Power Night. You must think everyone as Khiḍr‘alayhi ssalām, Green Man.“ This is every time he was saying, when first time he met his Shaykh in Istanbul. He was young, maybe nineteen or eighteen years old. And that time it was the worst time for Turkey, which it was forbidden to even to teach Qur’ān, to they was hanging ‘ulamā’ who wearing turban. They was hanging and for Mawlānā Shaykh he was, but with his love to and he... Some of people, knowing this shaykh and they take permission and bring Mawlānā to his house. And this shaykh he wasn`t go out of this house to not put this hat of kufr on his head – only his turban.
And he is in house making dhikr, making ṣuḥbah. And that night was bringing Mawlānā to his. First when he come, he say to, was he making ṣuḥbah, in ṣuḥbah saying: “You must know, you must think every night is Power Night and everyone, everyone you meet him, he is as Khiḍr‘alayhi s-salām.“ And it was, this sign I think, that night it was real Qadr, Night of Power and he showing value of Mawlānā in that time, Alhamdulilah.
This is very blessed days, Allāhmake us to find this and to ask for good thing for Islām, for Muslims, Insha Allah, for hidāyah for whole world, Insha Allah.

OUR LIFE HAS MEANING Sunday, 16 April 2021 / 25 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Being on the way of Allāh is the best thing for mankind. It is the most beautiful thing. To be on the way of Allāh, to obey Him and to know what to do are great favours for mankind. Whoever joins this way gets barakah. Allāh is pleased with him and Allāh loves him. To be with good people brings benefit. That is the real benefit. Otherwise, there is no benefit. There is no religion and no īmān. Whole day... We don`t criticize them. Allāh didn`t give it to them. They spend five to ten hours in a coffee shop. What do they do? They play cards. They say things to each other. Is this life? It is not life. It is a useless thing. They spend their lives and don`t realize that they will die. But when they have to die, they feel scared of getting old.
Who is a believer walks on the way of Allāh. He asks for the pleasure of Allāh. He knows that this life must not be wasted and that he should keep on this way. Certainly, sometimes shayṭān confuses people. Some Muslims may wish to be like others and say, “Look how relaxed they are. They have no problems. They play and travel and waste their time.“ Sometimes shayṭān confuses even them. To be together with the friends of Allāh, to be on the way of Allāh is a great benefit.
This great scholar wrote a poem. I can`t remember it. There is our Bahri Hoca, may Allāh bless him. He is perhaps one of the oldest murīds. He came to Mawlānā Shaykh Naẓīm sixty years ago. So he used to tell it.
Page277
“To make two steps with a scholar, to take two bites with a scholar, to hear two words from a scholar is more precious than gold.“ He used to say this. Shukr to Allāh, in order to walk on this way, they have travelled to here from so far with their children. It is beneficial for children as well. Allāh gives benefit to them as well. Two words spoken for the pleasure of Allāh will certainly be beneficial for them.
Two youngsters came this morning, may Allāh be pleased with them. They asked, “Let us walk with you.“ I said, “Follow from behind.“ They walked a little. As they walked for the pleasure of Allāh, Insha Allah, it will be profitable for them. Their ends will be good and it will be the means for guidance, Insha Allah. To be with good people, to walk with good people, every minute and second is beneficial. You attain the pleasure of Allāh. Be on that way with those people, Insha Allah. To be in way of Allāh, it the best thing in this life.
To be a believer and to follow way of Prophet, way of Allāh‘Azza waJalla, way of Awliyā’uLlāh, Mashāyikh– it is the best thing for anyone from human beings. Because this make you happy, even you feel not happy, but you’re inside happy. Maybe outside not happy but your heart it is happy, satisfied. Because you know, you are going in way which your life have meaning. Other people, no meaning for their life. When you look and thinking – what they`re doing? In our country here, there is many cafe shop from old time. Many people going there, playing this, I don`t know. Poker or with card something. I don`t know what it is named. From morning until evening, no praying, nothing and evening going house, maybe eating, sleeping. Next day, same thing. Next day, again. What is this life? No any purpose, no any meaning, nothing. Just you waste your life with nothing. No benefit for you, no benefit for others. And they are not thinking for this. So they`re miserable people.
Alhamdulilah you have this way of light and way of Allāh‘Azza waJalla, you must be happy, you must be thankful for Him to He didn`t... He can make you like them, but He give you this gift, to be in Hisway. To know, it is your life, it is not empty – full of blessing, full of mercy of
Page278
Allāh and you will be, find next life more than this, you be happy more than here. But who`s not doing this, they`re just wasting their life with nothing. Sometimes even believer or Muslim, they`re, shayṭān can cheat them: “Look this people, they`re happy, they`re enjoying their life. You can do something like this.” Maybe sometimes, many Muslims they`re lose their way. They`re going this wrong way and they`re be loser twice, because Allāh give them and they lose this jewel and they lose also their life with nonsense.
Allāh keep us in this way, because today... Who, I speak with one old murīd, the oldest murīd he is named Ḥajjī Bahri Hoca from Istanbul. He was with Mawlānā since sixties, maybe fifty-nine, sixty. He said he know me with three years old. He was saying every time one poem about who be with ‘Ulamā’, with Awliyā’. Two steps or two minutes or to listen two words from them and to eat two thing with them, it is like “better than gold,” he was saying. So Alhamdulilah. This today also, morning, there was two young boys when I go to walk they was waiting, asking to walk with me. And first time I saw them, just they come. I don`t know how they come, but they`re, what appear, they don`t know anything about religion or anything. I said, “Okay, follow me, I am going later.“ They follow maybe five minutes and they disappear. But Alhamdulilah, this also, they will be benefit for them, Insha Allah.
Alhamdulilah, Allāh make us with good people all time. With good people, you all time you get benefit, no harm, Insha Allah. Allāh keep us with them, Insha Allah.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq, Al-Fatiha.

TEACH WITH WISDOM AND MERCY Monday, 17 April, 2023/ 26 Ramadan 1444
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Bashshirū wa-lā tunaffirū yassirū walātu‘assirū,“ says our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu’alayhi wa-sallam. He says, “Make it easy and don`t make it difficult.“ Making things difficult leads people to hatred and pushes them away. It pushes them away from the religion. We shouldn`t make it too difficult for them. Because not everyone is used to it. There are those who take time to be guided. There are children. They are also not used to things. You must show them the good and the bad in a nice way and ensure that they do it. Otherwise, when using force, most of the time it happens the other way. The opposite happens. People start to hate it. They don`t want to listen and want to run away from this thing. Therefore, we must think through everything we do. We must look to see if we are doing right or we are doing wrong.
That is why the ḥadīth sharīf of our Holy Prophet says, “Tafakkursā‘atin khayrun min ‘ibādatisab‘īnsanah.“ Contemplating what to do and how to do it, for one hour, is better than worshiping for seventy years. Because one will probably do much better things in that one hour. It will be beneficial to humanity and to himself. Otherwise, worshiping doesn`t bring benefit to anyone except himself. There is nothing for others. Therefore, you must contemplate what to do and how to behave. You must think about it and act accordingly. The first thing people should do for their families is to teach them to pray. You can`t make them pray by

zakāhis farḍ, it won`t decrease at all.
