There is a wisdom from this. Because people are not giving any value for this. And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, from this thing which is of no value, gives punishment for people, punishment for tyrants, punishment for anyone, punishment for those who are against Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, against His will and are not giving any respect to what He creates. Now, they have big knowledge. They are looking at mosquitoes and they found miracles and miracles in this small insect. Of course, everything is a miracle of Allah. It is very very small. And there are (more) smaller than this insect that Allah creates. But this is what we can see. What we cannot see is even more.With this small insect, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla destroyed the enemies of prophets, the enemies of believers who were making themselves proud and thought that they are a big thing. So Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, with this small insect, destroyed the army of Nimrod who was claiming he is god. He made a big fire and threw Sayyidina ‘Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salam in this fire. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla with His Mercy, He is able to do everything. He made ‘‘Yā Nāru Kūnī Bardāan Wa Salāmāan `Alá ‘Ibrāhīm’’‘’O fire, be coolness and safety upon Ibrahim.’’ (Qur’ān 21:69). He made even fire, paradise for Sayyidina ‘Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salam. And nothing affected him. Even when they threw him there, he was in paradise.
After that, when Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla was angry with Pharaoh and his army, He sent mosquitoes that came like a cloud over this army and attacked them. This army was armored with iron. Everything they had was iron. And iron – if there’s a normal enemy [facing you], if they hit you by sword, they cannot touch you; if they throw an arrow, it cannot go inside; even with a spear, they also cannot. This is with a normal army. But with mosquitoes, they cannot do anything [to face them]. And these mosquitoes, Subhan Allah normally mosquitoes only take blood, but Allah made them to go inside [and eat them]. There were millions of mosquitoes for each one [of the army]. They were eating them. Millions

and millions. After that, only skeletons were left in these armors.
When Nimrod saw this, he ran away. He ran away and closed his door. And Allah, to make him more ignoble, to humiliate him, He sent him one mosquito. But this mosquito Mawlana was saying every time it had one leg that was not good. It was making like this [Mawlana imitates limping and laughs]. It came in from the [door’s] keyhole and entered through his nose to his brain. It began to eat from his brain making him in very much pain. Every time he was feeling painful, he was making like this [hitting his head]. The mosquito was stopping when he hit his head. After that, it became bigger and bigger and it wasn’t stopping. This time, he hit his head even more. After that, it also didn’t stop so he brought people to hit his head with wood, then a big wood. In the end, one of them brought a big wood, branch and beat him. His head split into two parts and the mosquito was as big as a bird. He sent him to Jahannam.
There are many wisdoms of mosquitoes. Of course, it is also for people – sometimes in old times also, for making disease, making illness. From this illness, many people were dying or curing. This is also a wisdom. This is all Allah’s will. Whoever is a believer, Allah rewards him. Now also, when some of these mosquitoes or insects bite you, Allah rewards you. Don’t worry. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, “For the Mu’min, everything is good in this world.” In this Dunya, if he is a believer, nothing is bad for him. Even when some thorn hurts him, Allah rewards him for this also.
For this, mosquitoes – this night also, we are making this Sohbah about mosquitoes. We must accept everything from Allah. Of course, you can kill them; there’s no problem. Some people ask if Allah says we can’t no.It is a Hadith or rule of Fiqh. Everything that harms people must be killed. And this is one of them. There’s no problem to kill them.
Many times people are forgetting what Allah promised for the Mu’min, for the believer. So they are complaining and are not happy. Be happy

with everything Allah gives you. This is a small thing that Allah made for you, don’t be angry. Insha Allah may Allah not give you [something] bigger than this that makes you forget this. May Allah save us from every badness, especially our ego, our NafsInsha Allah. May Allah keep us safe from this and save us from bad things.
We are living in a time that is a very bad time but also a very good time. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, “Akhiru lUmmah Akhyaru l-Ummah.” “The last Ummah (nation) is the best Ummah”, Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said. Because if they are following Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, they will be like the Sahabah, like the companions of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. The companions will even be happy for them to be like them. May Allah bless you.

PROTECT YOURSELF AND BE WITH RIGHT PEOPLE Wednesday, 24 May 2023 / 4 Dhul Qa’dah 1444 Montréal, Canada.
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Bismillah: “Al-Ladhīna Yafraĥūna Bimā `Ataw Wa Yuĥibbūna ‘An Yuĥmadū BimāLam Yaf`alū’’(Qur’ān 03:188).‘‘ That those who rejoice in what they have perpetrated and like to be praised for what they did not do.’’This is Ayah from Qur’an. Allah loves people who make good things, charity, Khayr (goodness) and help people. And these people do this for the sake of Allah. They don’t want “Lā Nurīdu Minkum Jazā’an WaLā Shukūrāa”, “We wish not from you reward or thanks.” (Qur’ān 76:09).
They don’t want any thanks from people or wages or anything from people. This is for the sake of Allah that they are doing what they are doing. Allah loves these people.
And there is the opposite of these people. Some people are doing bad things to people and they are also asking from people to thank them and give them something. They are asking from people, “We did this for you.” But what are they doing in reality? They are harming people or cheating people. And there is another [type of] people also.
Somebody does something, they say, “We did this.” And they like people to praise them, to be happy with them, to be famous, to be beloved for people. They want people to love them. But in reality, they are not

doing anything. They think if they cheat people and people are happy with them, they will be happy.
But they forget a very important thing, the most important thing: Allah knows everything. No one can cheat Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. What they do in Qiyamah, on the Day of Resurrection, everything will be given. Who had done good will take it. Who had done a bad thing will also be punished. And who didn’t do anything and is cheating people; people think he is doing a good thing, he will also have nothing. But also if Allah doesn’t forgive him, if he doesn’t ask for forgiveness, Allah will punish him.
For this, in everything we are doing, we believe that Allah ‘Azza waJalla knows everything. You cannot hide anything. He knows everything. Of course, we all have sins, faults and wrong things that we do. But what’s important here is to know this and ask for forgiveness. If you do not ask for forgiveness, Allah will be unhappy with you. When Allah is not happy with you, if all human beings, all the world is happy with you, there’s no benefit for you. The only benefit is to be with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, not to be with what people like.
These days, many things are changing; too much. Many things from the manners of old people disappeared, before this machine came. Everybody wants what’s a fashion. Before, who wanted to be famous maybe looked at movies to do something, to be a star or to sing, “Maybe my voice will be famous.” But nowadays, everybody has his own machine to make himself famous. And they are doing funny things. They harm themselves and they harm others also with nonsense. Just for their ego, they are doing everything. They are giving a bad example for other people also, to try to do like themselves. This is not good. This is not honorable for human beings. What’s honorable: everybody has his privacy and he must keep it; not showing everybody.
These people are also not understanding about what harms them and what doesn’t harm them. The most harmful thing for humans and for

other people is: other people to be jealous from you. And if not jealous, they might have an evil eye. This evil eye is very dangerous, not a joke. Many people are coming to us asking, “Do I have magic, black magic? Do I have Jinn?” this and that. But they are forgetting the most important thing. Whether black magic or other, not everybody can do it. It is a very rare thing to do. But the real one is the evil eye. This is what Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying. If you show people and one of them has an evil eye, they can finish you and sometimes you may get a very bad thing that you cannot survive from.
For this, we must have some privacy, and to keep yourself, to protect yourself. Don’t show everything, what Allah gave you, what you have. Because in this time, people don’t understand. They don’t have mercy. They only have envy, jealousy and enmity towards people who are better than them. This is what is taught in this time.
For this, be careful and follow the order of Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhiwasallam. The best order is from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, and from the Sahabah / companions, Mashayikh, ‘Ulama (scholars). All of these ones wrote hundreds, thousands, millions of books about good manners, about how to live like human beings with your honor, with your nobility. You must follow them. Don’t look, “These people, all people are doing this. We are imitating them.” If you imitate them, they are not good people so nothing can be good with these people. With these people, you only get misery, you get sadness, you get stress, you feel darkness in your heart. Be with good people. Be with Tariqah people who are looking after Akhirah only, who are not looking after Dunya.
Of course, there are many who are claiming they are Tariqah people, but their main aim is to get benefit from others. This is also not good. Allah gives everybody according to his intention. You are following good people sometimes many people are following them, and after that they are coming and complaining, “He made this for me. He took from me. He cheated me. He did this for me.” So don’t be angry. Be

from the beginning careful. Look for people who are with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, not looking after Dunya. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will give you good things as your good intention Insha Allah. Maybe before, you might’ve gotten some test or something happened, but you must say, “This is a lesson for me. I must look for the real one.” Because in this time, thousands of people are cheating people also. Some people like these people, left their belief and left their religion. This is not good. You lost your material thing, don’t lose the spiritual thing. There are real people, follow themInsha Allah. Don’t be sad. We see, until now, many people even cheat Mashayikh. We can tell many stories about Mawlana and Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, about people who cheated them. Of course, they know but they are not saying for the sake of Allah. They are not giving any importance for Dunya, but for Akhirah only.
For this, be careful. In everything, be with right people, with good people Insha Allah. Put in your heart and ask from Allah, “O my Lord, make my intention to be pure for you. Send me people who will take me on this way to happiness, to Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, to Paradise Insha Allah.” May Allah help us. May Allah keep us safe from bad things, give us every good thing and not make us run away from the good way of Allah with tests. We must not lose the test. If we lose something, we mustn’t lose the test, you must succeed for Akhirah Insha Allah. May Allah bless you. We are not people of tests. We are weak. Don’t ask for a test. Don’t test us Ya Allah. O Allah make us to be safe on your way without anybody disturbing us or making us run away from this way. Amin.
May Allah make us together forever Insha Allah, to be neighbors of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and to be with the Mashayikh, our Mashayikh, all Mashayikh in Jannah Insha Allah.

Insha Allah tonight is a holy blessed night, the night of Jum’ah. We will make Khatmul-Khwajagan. Insha’Allah we will make a little bit Sohbah and after it we will make Khatmul-Khwajagan. This is the order of our Tariqah, order of Naqshbandi Tariqah. Insha’Allah we can do it here Insha Allah. Allah sent us this place, it’s okay. Everywhere for the Mu’min (believer), he can do. Where Allah wants, we can do this Dhikr Insha Allah. Do they want to translate to French?
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, as we said, makes for the Mu’min, for the believer, for the Muslim the whole earth “Tahoora” (clean). So you can pray everywhere. You can do your ‘Ibadah, your worship everywhere on this earth. The important thing is to be clean. It must be clean where you make your ‘Ibadah, where you make Sajdah, where you stand for praying Salat. The earth must be clean and yourself also. Everything in your clothes, and you must make Wudu (ablution), you make Ghusl (fullbody ablution). You are clean then. With this, you can do your worship everywhere Insha Allah.
When you do ‘Ibadah, worship in some place, this place becomes light from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. With ‘Ibadah, Allah sends there His blessed looking. And when He is looking, there becomes light, Nur from Allah for this place. When you go inside every mosque and every Dergah, you

feel a good feeling. Whoever can see, can see light coming from there. And this light comes to the heart. And when the heart is lightened, it is happiness for the believer.
Alhamdulilah today we went to this place that they are claiming is for worshipping, but normally it’s not like this. What Sayyidina ‘Isa ‘alayhi s-salam/Jesus or Sayyidina Musa were ordering them to do from ‘Ibadah is not like this. For this, when you go to such places you feel heaviness, you be in darkness and sadness in this place. But also, we are Insha Allah going there for AllahInsha Allah to give light to many people there who are sincere people, for the light of Allah to come to their hearts. And maybe Allah gives them Hidayah (guidance) to go to the right way. Because they are very sincere people and very good people but they don’t know that what are doing is of no benefit.
We must go everywhere Allah is ordering, to give Allah ‘Azza waJalla’s message for human beings, to call them to the right way: the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is the mission for us. So of course, we cannot go and say, “Oh come and be Muslim.” Just our appearance makes them, as we said, if Allah has given them something, it will come from that point for the better and better Insha Allah.
And to do this, Insha Allah we first make ourselves also on the way of what Allah and Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam like us to do; to be better and better and better. And from your intention, you can bring somebody to the way of Allah And when you bring someone, this is the biggest favour from Allah for you.
Once, there was a big ‘Awliyau’LlahShaqīq al-Balkhī. He is from [the time] after the Sahabah, from Tabi’een. He was the student of Ibrahim ibn Adham, a big ‘Awliya also. He was following his Murid. He was talking about himself that during his youth, he was with young people and they were playing. Once, they were near a place for worshipping fire. This temple was for fire worshippers in Turkistan, in Central Asia. There were many people worshipping fire. “Majoosi” we call them.

Even when we were in Dagestan [we were told that] also before 300 or 400 years there were also many places where they were worshipping fire, Majoosi. I was surprised to hear about this. I thought they were finished a long time ago. But until maybe 300 years, they were still worshipping. And after this, with the Barakah of the Naqshbandi Mashayikh, they left that and became strong believers and strongly Muslim. Shaqīq al-Balkhī said that for enjoying themselves, they went inside this temple and saw one young man worshipping fire. Shaqīq alBalkhī told the young man, “What are you doing! This is not good. Don’t worship fire. Become a Muslim.” When he talked like this, this young man slapped him on his face. When he slapped him on his face, he said, “I understand. I have done something wrong because I am also not ready. I am not better than him. So what I have told him did not affect him. He didn’t take what I said, he even attacked me and hit me.” He was crying at himself. Because his ego was like this, he was crying to Allah asking for forgiveness. And after this, he looked at himself and was following Mashayikh and following ‘Ulama (scholars). He became better and he was famous between people. He became famous and he had many followers. Of course, he was with big ‘Awliya and big ‘Ulama. He was worshipping andmaking his ego under his feet. So many people were following him, loving him and taking Barakah from him.
Once also, he was going through the city. He saw this temple again. He said, “We will look what they are teaching these people, why they are not following the right way. Let’s go and see what they are doing.” And he went inside with his follower. When he went inside, he said that he saw one old man worshipping fire also. He told him, “O good man, pure man. What are you doing?” This man told him, “Tell me about Islam.” He told him and he quickly made Shahadah and became Muslim. That time, Shaqīq al-Balkhī said to him, “O nice old man. There was here, once before many years, one young boy, what happened to him? Where is he?” He said, “I am this man. I became old.” When he said this, SayyidinaShaqīq al-Balkhī said, “I was telling you at that time to become Muslim. Why didn’t you become Muslim at that time?” He said, “That time when you said this, what you told me didn’t affect me at all.

Because maybe you didn’t have this responsibility or what you said was without Himmah (support), without power. When you said this now, it directly came to my heart and made me surrender and become Muslim.”
This is an important thing: your sincerity. It is very important. Everything must be not by following your ego, but following Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhiwasallam: how he was acting, how he was affecting people, what he was doing. He was not looking after Dunya. Even once there are ladies here, many ladies his wives, after when in Madinah, they became rich. But Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was not looking at all after Dunya. They asked something from him – Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was very gentle. Not like our people, if they are saying something, quickly they are fighting with their wives, shouting doing this and that; no. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was never was not saying anything – So he was not happy, he doing this. When he was not happy with what they said. He didn’t come to them for one month. And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla said to them, “If you want Dunya, money, jewelry, gold, yes you can take this and go away from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. If you want Allah, you don’t look for this at all.” They said, “Yes we want Allah. We don’t want anything else.” This is the attribute of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and this is what he is teaching us.
With this, all millions and billions of people become Muslim from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And he showed us this way. The first thing: we must look at ourselves. Don’t look after Dunya. When you are looking to bring somebody to Iman, to the way of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, this is the biggest favor, the biggest victory for you. Trading with Allah is better than trading for Dunya. There are people looking at people who come, “How can I take from them?” No, don’t take. Ask from Allah. Don’t ask from people.

BE PATIENT, DO GOODNESS Friday, 26 May 2023 / 6 Dhul Qa’dah 1444 Prior to Jum’ah Prayer at Masjid E Siddiqia – Québec, Canada.
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem:‘’Wata‘āwanū ‘ala l-birri wa t-taqwāwa la ta‘āwanū ‘ala l-lithmīwa l-‘udwān’’ َ◌َ◌(Qur’ān 05:02).‘’And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.” This is the order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to help each other in charity, to help people in helping each other in everything. This is an order from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to our Prophet Sayyidina Muhammad sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
This is enough for human beings to understand how great it is to be with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and with His Messengers. They are only for teaching people, guiding people to the good thing. They are never wanting any bad thing for people, for human beings. They are trying to save them from the bad things in this life. And what’s more important: the second life, the real life. This life is nothing. Only – even not like opening your eyes and closing them compared to eternity.
For this, we Insha Allah must follow this order: to help. Every time, we must be helping people. Even if they are not helping you, even if they are harming you, if you help them you will be a beloved one for Allah and you will be happy. This is the order of Allah the rule of Allah. Many Awliyau’Llah were suffering and still helping people; they were not fed up, not running away. There is one saying, “To be patient with who

harms you is good manners. But to be not only patient but to do goodness to who does you badness, these are the real good people.” Maybe you can be patient with who does you badness; you run away from them. But if you are patient and you do a good thing for who does you a bad thing, these are the real honorable people. Very few people do this. And these people are Awliyau’Llah, the beloved ones for Allah.
And the continuation of this verse is,‘Walata‘āwanū ‘ala l-lithmīwa l‘udwān’’‘‘But do not cooperate in sin and aggression.’‘ (Qur’ān 05:02).Don’t help each other to harm people, to do a bad thing for people. Don’t do this. Even if your tribe, your people are doing so, you mustn’t. Because people like to help each other in everything. Some people are even harming people and oppressing people, the others don’t say, “Don’t do this” but help them.
This is what happened in ancient times, which is mentioned in Surat Yasin. The disciples of Sayyidina ‘Isa ‘alayhi s-salam went to this city, they call it Antakya. The city where there was a big earthquake now. The whole city didn’t accept the disciples and didn’t accept the truth. This good man who was a carpenter, Najjar. His name was Habib anNajjar: meaning Habib the carpenter. He came and told his people, “O, don’t make this. These people are good. They are advising you to be good people to save you from badness.” They were angry at him. They threw him [on the ground] and were stepping on him. And they killed him like this. But he said, which is mentioned in Qu’ran, in Yasin, “O, I wish my people would now how I am now!” He was in paradise. But in Dunya his [situation] was very bad that they killed him by stepping on him. Even with all that, he wished his people to be good. Even in Akhirah, they are wishing goodness for people.
May Allah make us to try to be like them Insha Allah.

[..] They were merciful towards everything. One example of this is: once they were fighting in war. One Sahabi was fighting with a non-Muslim one. So when you are fighting if they say, “O stop! I will become Muslim.” You cannot touch them. One time, one person was fighting the Sahabi very aggressively, but he won over him and wanted to kill him. But he said, “O I will become Muslim.” He [Sahabi] said, “He is afraid from my sword” and he killed him. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was very unhappy with this. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said to this Sahabi, “Why did you do this?” He said, “He is afraid from my sword, to not kill him.” Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said, “Did you open his heart and look if [what he said] is real or not real?” Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam repeated this many times.
As we said, there are millions of examples about Mu’min people. The Mu’min is who believes and accepts what Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying. Of course, many people are saying they are Muslim, but in reality they don’t have any belief, they don’t have anything. Since the time of the Prophet, they have been making this Fitnah everywhere. The real Mu’mins, believers are fighting to make what Allah wants them to do, to defend Islam, to defend their family and their place.There are many examples about this, but there is one, the famous one. In 19th Century in the Caucasus, where there is Dagestan, Chech-

nya and other. He is Sheikh Shāmil. He fought against the Russian Empire for more than 25 years. He also was not doing anything for the people who were not fighting him. He was only fighting the big army of the Russian Tzar, and he won every time. They even sent him a small army, they couldn’t win over him. After that, the Tzar got very angry. He ordered his commander, “Get the general and the others.” 50,000 very strong army went to them. He won over them and took many things from them. And they were running away. The second time, the Tzar ordered stronger generals. He even sent some of them who had fought with Napoleon Bonaparte and had won him. So he sent them with a stronger army, army of 60,000 and also couldn’t win on them.
But after this, what did they do, those who are unbelievers? They went to a village. In Caucasus there is a mountain, a high mountain where it’s difficult to go to. They couldn’t go after them. So they were attacking the village on the plains; which is only a flat place. They were killing people, torturing them. They were doing this to make Sheikh Shāmil surrender and accept what they want. They did this. And when the people came to Sheikh Shāmil’s mother telling her to ask him to make peace with these people to not torture them, she was very sad and she told him about this. When she told him this, he became very sad and he was crying because of what these people were saying. After that, he went to the mosque because he wanted to give an order: who asks [to make peace] from these people must be punished. His mother was very shocked from that and very unhappy with what happened.
Normally when something difficult happens to him, he goes to the mosque, makes Khalwah (seclusion) and prays. He sits the whole time they’re fasting, until something comes as ‘Ilham (inspiration) to him. He was a very beloved one for Allah. He was asking for Madad from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And he was a Naqshbandi Murid also of Sheikh Jamaluddin al-Ghumuqi, whose grave is in Istanbul.
After many days, he went out. And because it is an order, his mother must come to the court of the city and she must accept the decision they

give, he said. Of course, his mother was very regretful of what she said, but she was a very strong lady, a very strong woman. She asked from Allah to make this court not give any reduction, any less punishment. To tell people just what justice says. She was praying for this: for not to have a special [treatment] as the mother of Imam Shāmil. Imam Shāmil also said that they must say what’s just. And he was giving the decision. She is guilty, they said. And for the guilty, there must be 100 lashes. Sheikh Shāmil carried the whip and everybody was unhappy because she is his mother and they love him. All these people were loving Sheikh Shāmil and they would give [sacrifice] themselves instead of him. But Sheikh Shāmil said, “No, this is the decision. My mother is guilty. She gets this punishment: 100 lashes. But because she is making this for me, and with a good intention: she was merciful for other people to help them. So she is guilty but because I am her son, I will take this punishment upon myself.” When the people heard this, they were crying, “How will our Imam be whipped!” But no one can object any of his words. So he took his shirt off and told these people, “You must whip me as strong as you can. Don’t make it slow.” He went there and they began to whip him. All the people were crying for him. But he wasn’t saying anything; not any voice [came from him] until the 100 lashes were finished. His whole back was covered with blood. When they finished, he said, “Thank you O Allah, I made it.” And he made a Shukr Sajdah.
Alhamdulilah with his Barakah, even after the Russians took it and made it like the communists; it was eighty years under their command and control – We first went with Mawlana Sheikh in 1997 I think or 1995; something like this – You wouldn’t believe that this country was under the control of a communist, secular, atheistic government for eighty years. You’ll think it is much better than many Muslim countries.
This is one example. There are still millions of examples about people with real belief who are merciful to people. Because even in their time, they sacrificed themselves. But this sacrifice didn’t go for nothing. They

are alive. Allah says:“Bal `Aĥyā’un `Inda RabbihimYurzaqūn”, “Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” (Qur’ān 03:169). Of course, shaytan is not stopping. He has many tricks. So he said to the new people, “Don’t be believers. No need to be believers. Don’t believe anything. Only believe yourself. You read the Qur’an, there’s no need for Hadith also. What you understand from the Qur’an, you can do.” Without these good people, the believers, nothing would be left from Islam in this area. But with these believers, Islam was alive and coming again to all of this area. For this, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying to these people, “Don’t say you are believers. Only say ‘We are Muslim’.” Believers are more precious and more acceptable in the Divine Presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
May Allah help Muslims to be Mu’mins, to be believers Insha Allah. Amin.

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
May Allah make our Majlis Barakah and Khayr (goodness) for all of who are here and for all of who are watching this gathering. Our Tariqah, the Naqshbandi Tariqah has two pillars: one is Sohbah, and one is KhatmulKhwajagan. This is our way, way of the Golden Chain: from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until Mawlana Sheikh Nazim Insha Allah.
Alhamdulilah we have been with Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah. But of course, in the childhood or as teenagers, we were not understanding too much about many of the things he was saying. Many of them, we didn’t understand. One of these is he said: “I am illiterate. I am not preparing for the Sohabh. I’m just here like” – at that time there was no internet, no anything – he said, “I am like a radio. They are sending from there and I am speaking.” This is what he was saying, and I was wondering about that. According to a child’s thinking, and that time there wasn’t like this: too much electronics or machines. We didn’t even have – Mawlana Sheikh didn’t have a radio in his house. So I was wondering: how was this coming? Them giving him and he speaking from what he hears? I didn’t know. After that, we Alhamdulilah it came. When he asks Madad, they are giving what people are in need of. They are giving him what the gathering needs. They send him and he advises everybody.Whether understanding or not understanding, with his Barakah

the whole gathering takes benefit. Maa Sha Allah he was making Sohbah every day after Dhuhr for nearly more than 2 hours. And how many people would you think were listening to this Sohbah? Maybe the most crowd were ten or twelve people. On the Day of Jum’ah, when there was Khatm and Sohbah, maybe seventy or sixty people only. And he was speaking deep [Sohbah], but when the people were hearing, they were not understanding how deep it is. They were just listening and understanding what the common people understand; not understanding the meaning. All of them were just sitting for Barakah. And of course with the blessings coming on this gathering, they were very happy. They were like the drunk from this, [which was coming] like a heavy shower of blessings and Barakah upon them.
Many of them don’t know anything. They came like this and went after that without – only with the Barakah of Mawlana. But who only understood was Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. He was taking all his knowledge from his Sheikh, Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, and he distributed it to the whole world. He was only for the sake of Allah following his Sheikh. He left everything behind him, not looking after Dunya, not looking after anything. He left everything and came to his Sheikh with his intention. And Allah, for his intention, made him to understand.
Good intention – Allah helps who has a good intention. Because Mawlana Sheikh Nazim from the beginning, from nothing, and Allah gave him everything. Before he got married and until he got married, he was intending to not put any money in his pocket. Seven years, he didn’t put [money in his pocket]. After that, Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah said, “You must take this.” He wasn’t asking from anybody, “Give me. Help me.” Never. In these seven years, he was traveling. At that time, he was traveling in Syria because in many places they wanted to know about Tariqah. He was going to Syria and Lebanon. And he was even traveling to Cyprus. To go to Cyprus, it was by ship or by plane. Also without anything, Allah helped him and he was going and coming. He was doing everything. He is, Maa Sha Allah, our light. You are lucky you – he finds you, not you find him. He finds you. Until now, as I’m saying eve-

ry time, he is still acting more than before. Many people are coming for Shahadah and for Tariqah through his order in dreams. He is coming to people, “Go take Shahadah. Go be in Tariqah.”
His title is Haqqani. He got it in 1979 I think, or 1978. I had a shop so my partner, our Murid, came and said, “Today Mawlana was saying in Sohbah, ‘Today I got this title: Haqqani’.” The Haqqani title. Which means to give everybody his right. Haqqani means who gives rights. Who is extremely on the [way of] truth. There are many examples but we give a small example about Mawlana. When he wants to buy something, Mawlana was bargaining, “How much is this?” He said, “This is ten pounds.” He was bargaining. He said, “No, I will give you twelve.” [Mawlana laughs] This is his attribute. He never [rejects] people who ask. He wants to give more not less. He says, “They are poor people. They must get more. We will not be rich if we bargain and make it a little bit less.” But when you seethis, from his happiness he makes Dua. And this Dua is more expensive (valuable) from what we will get from bargaining.
Alhamdulilah, until his last days, he never [kept money], just as Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. When some money comes as Hadiyyah (gift) for him, he was quickly sending his servant to distribute all this money. Until Fajr, not any money is left. All Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, many of them have this attribute. Especially Sayyidatina Nafisa atTahira, she is the granddaughter of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wasallam. She also was like this. Ofcourse in his last days, he wasn’t even touching them. “Whatever it is, give everything. Send to this, to that, to that, to this.” Until the morning, everything would be clean; nothing left.
So Alhamdulilah, as we were saying from the beginning of this Sohbah, Mawlana Sheikh kept Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah’s inheritance of Sohbah, of the understanding of Sohbah. And he made all these people: from east to west, from the (most) poorest until the Sultan, until the President, until the Prime Minister, to be a Murid for him and to love

him. When they are hearing about him, they are praising him. This is all the Barakah of his good understanding and good teaching of his Sheikh, Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, our Grand Sheikh. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Laqad Kāna Lakum Fī RasūliLlāhi ‘Uswatun Hasana’’ ”There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example.’ (Qur’ān 33:21). ṢadaqaLlāhu l-‘aẓīm.

There is a wisdom from this. Because people are not giving any value for this. And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, from this thing which is of no value, gives punishment for people, punishment for tyrants, punishment for anyone, punishment for those who are against Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, against His will and are not giving any respect to what He creates. Now, they have big knowledge. They are looking at mosquitoes and they found miracles and miracles in this small insect. Of course, everything is a miracle of Allah. It is very very small. And there are (more) smaller than this insect that Allah creates. But this is what we can see. What we cannot see is even more.With this small insect, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla destroyed the enemies of prophets, the enemies of believers who were making themselves proud and thought that they are a big thing. So Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, with this small insect, destroyed the army of Nimrod who was claiming he is god. He made a big fire and threw Sayyidina ‘Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salam in this fire. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla with His Mercy, He is able to do everything. He made ‘‘Yā Nāru Kūnī Bardāan Wa Salāmāan `Alá ‘Ibrāhīm’’‘’O fire, be coolness and safety upon Ibrahim.’’ (Qur’ān 21:69). He made even fire, paradise for Sayyidina ‘Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salam. And nothing affected him. Even when they threw him there, he was in paradise.
After that, when Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla was angry with Pharaoh and his army, He sent mosquitoes that came like a cloud over this army and attacked them. This army was armored with iron. Everything they had was iron. And iron – if there’s a normal enemy [facing you], if they hit you by sword, they cannot touch you; if they throw an arrow, it cannot go inside; even with a spear, they also cannot. This is with a normal army. But with mosquitoes, they cannot do anything [to face them]. And these mosquitoes, Subhan Allah normally mosquitoes only take blood, but Allah made them to go inside [and eat them]. There were millions of mosquitoes for each one [of the army]. They were eating them. Millions

and millions. After that, only skeletons were left in these armors.
When Nimrod saw this, he ran away. He ran away and closed his door. And Allah, to make him more ignoble, to humiliate him, He sent him one mosquito. But this mosquito Mawlana was saying every time it had one leg that was not good. It was making like this [Mawlana imitates limping and laughs]. It came in from the [door’s] keyhole and entered through his nose to his brain. It began to eat from his brain making him in very much pain. Every time he was feeling painful, he was making like this [hitting his head]. The mosquito was stopping when he hit his head. After that, it became bigger and bigger and it wasn’t stopping. This time, he hit his head even more. After that, it also didn’t stop so he brought people to hit his head with wood, then a big wood. In the end, one of them brought a big wood, branch and beat him. His head split into two parts and the mosquito was as big as a bird. He sent him to Jahannam.
There are many wisdoms of mosquitoes. Of course, it is also for people – sometimes in old times also, for making disease, making illness. From this illness, many people were dying or curing. This is also a wisdom. This is all Allah’s will. Whoever is a believer, Allah rewards him. Now also, when some of these mosquitoes or insects bite you, Allah rewards you. Don’t worry. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, “For the Mu’min, everything is good in this world.” In this Dunya, if he is a believer, nothing is bad for him. Even when some thorn hurts him, Allah rewards him for this also.
For this, mosquitoes – this night also, we are making this Sohbah about mosquitoes. We must accept everything from Allah. Of course, you can kill them; there’s no problem. Some people ask if Allah says we can’t no.It is a Hadith or rule of Fiqh. Everything that harms people must be killed. And this is one of them. There’s no problem to kill them.
Many times people are forgetting what Allah promised for the Mu’min, for the believer. So they are complaining and are not happy. Be happy

with everything Allah gives you. This is a small thing that Allah made for you, don’t be angry. Insha Allah may Allah not give you [something] bigger than this that makes you forget this. May Allah save us from every badness, especially our ego, our NafsInsha Allah. May Allah keep us safe from this and save us from bad things.
We are living in a time that is a very bad time but also a very good time. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, “Akhiru lUmmah Akhyaru l-Ummah.” “The last Ummah (nation) is the best Ummah”, Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said. Because if they are following Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, they will be like the Sahabah, like the companions of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. The companions will even be happy for them to be like them. May Allah bless you.

PROTECT YOURSELF AND BE WITH RIGHT PEOPLE Wednesday, 24 May 2023 / 4 Dhul Qa’dah 1444 Montréal, Canada.
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Bismillah: “Al-Ladhīna Yafraĥūna Bimā `Ataw Wa Yuĥibbūna ‘An Yuĥmadū BimāLam Yaf`alū’’(Qur’ān 03:188).‘‘ That those who rejoice in what they have perpetrated and like to be praised for what they did not do.’’This is Ayah from Qur’an. Allah loves people who make good things, charity, Khayr (goodness) and help people. And these people do this for the sake of Allah. They don’t want “Lā Nurīdu Minkum Jazā’an WaLā Shukūrāa”, “We wish not from you reward or thanks.” (Qur’ān 76:09).
They don’t want any thanks from people or wages or anything from people. This is for the sake of Allah that they are doing what they are doing. Allah loves these people.
And there is the opposite of these people. Some people are doing bad things to people and they are also asking from people to thank them and give them something. They are asking from people, “We did this for you.” But what are they doing in reality? They are harming people or cheating people. And there is another [type of] people also.
Somebody does something, they say, “We did this.” And they like people to praise them, to be happy with them, to be famous, to be beloved for people. They want people to love them. But in reality, they are not

doing anything. They think if they cheat people and people are happy with them, they will be happy.
But they forget a very important thing, the most important thing: Allah knows everything. No one can cheat Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. What they do in Qiyamah, on the Day of Resurrection, everything will be given. Who had done good will take it. Who had done a bad thing will also be punished. And who didn’t do anything and is cheating people; people think he is doing a good thing, he will also have nothing. But also if Allah doesn’t forgive him, if he doesn’t ask for forgiveness, Allah will punish him.
For this, in everything we are doing, we believe that Allah ‘Azza waJalla knows everything. You cannot hide anything. He knows everything. Of course, we all have sins, faults and wrong things that we do. But what’s important here is to know this and ask for forgiveness. If you do not ask for forgiveness, Allah will be unhappy with you. When Allah is not happy with you, if all human beings, all the world is happy with you, there’s no benefit for you. The only benefit is to be with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, not to be with what people like.
These days, many things are changing; too much. Many things from the manners of old people disappeared, before this machine came. Everybody wants what’s a fashion. Before, who wanted to be famous maybe looked at movies to do something, to be a star or to sing, “Maybe my voice will be famous.” But nowadays, everybody has his own machine to make himself famous. And they are doing funny things. They harm themselves and they harm others also with nonsense. Just for their ego, they are doing everything. They are giving a bad example for other people also, to try to do like themselves. This is not good. This is not honorable for human beings. What’s honorable: everybody has his privacy and he must keep it; not showing everybody.
These people are also not understanding about what harms them and what doesn’t harm them. The most harmful thing for humans and for

other people is: other people to be jealous from you. And if not jealous, they might have an evil eye. This evil eye is very dangerous, not a joke. Many people are coming to us asking, “Do I have magic, black magic? Do I have Jinn?” this and that. But they are forgetting the most important thing. Whether black magic or other, not everybody can do it. It is a very rare thing to do. But the real one is the evil eye. This is what Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying. If you show people and one of them has an evil eye, they can finish you and sometimes you may get a very bad thing that you cannot survive from.
For this, we must have some privacy, and to keep yourself, to protect yourself. Don’t show everything, what Allah gave you, what you have. Because in this time, people don’t understand. They don’t have mercy. They only have envy, jealousy and enmity towards people who are better than them. This is what is taught in this time.
For this, be careful and follow the order of Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhiwasallam. The best order is from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, and from the Sahabah / companions, Mashayikh, ‘Ulama (scholars). All of these ones wrote hundreds, thousands, millions of books about good manners, about how to live like human beings with your honor, with your nobility. You must follow them. Don’t look, “These people, all people are doing this. We are imitating them.” If you imitate them, they are not good people so nothing can be good with these people. With these people, you only get misery, you get sadness, you get stress, you feel darkness in your heart. Be with good people. Be with Tariqah people who are looking after Akhirah only, who are not looking after Dunya.
Of course, there are many who are claiming they are Tariqah people, but their main aim is to get benefit from others. This is also not good. Allah gives everybody according to his intention. You are following good people sometimes many people are following them, and after that they are coming and complaining, “He made this for me. He took from me. He cheated me. He did this for me.” So don’t be angry. Be

from the beginning careful. Look for people who are with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, not looking after Dunya. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will give you good things as your good intention Insha Allah. Maybe before, you might’ve gotten some test or something happened, but you must say, “This is a lesson for me. I must look for the real one.” Because in this time, thousands of people are cheating people also. Some people like these people, left their belief and left their religion. This is not good. You lost your material thing, don’t lose the spiritual thing. There are real people, follow themInsha Allah. Don’t be sad. We see, until now, many people even cheat Mashayikh. We can tell many stories about Mawlana and Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, about people who cheated them. Of course, they know but they are not saying for the sake of Allah. They are not giving any importance for Dunya, but for Akhirah only.
For this, be careful. In everything, be with right people, with good people Insha Allah. Put in your heart and ask from Allah, “O my Lord, make my intention to be pure for you. Send me people who will take me on this way to happiness, to Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, to Paradise Insha Allah.” May Allah help us. May Allah keep us safe from bad things, give us every good thing and not make us run away from the good way of Allah with tests. We must not lose the test. If we lose something, we mustn’t lose the test, you must succeed for Akhirah Insha Allah. May Allah bless you. We are not people of tests. We are weak. Don’t ask for a test. Don’t test us Ya Allah. O Allah make us to be safe on your way without anybody disturbing us or making us run away from this way. Amin.
May Allah make us together forever Insha Allah, to be neighbors of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and to be with the Mashayikh, our Mashayikh, all Mashayikh in Jannah Insha Allah.

Insha Allah tonight is a holy blessed night, the night of Jum’ah. We will make Khatmul-Khwajagan. Insha’Allah we will make a little bit Sohbah and after it we will make Khatmul-Khwajagan. This is the order of our Tariqah, order of Naqshbandi Tariqah. Insha’Allah we can do it here Insha Allah. Allah sent us this place, it’s okay. Everywhere for the Mu’min (believer), he can do. Where Allah wants, we can do this Dhikr Insha Allah. Do they want to translate to French?
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, as we said, makes for the Mu’min, for the believer, for the Muslim the whole earth “Tahoora” (clean). So you can pray everywhere. You can do your ‘Ibadah, your worship everywhere on this earth. The important thing is to be clean. It must be clean where you make your ‘Ibadah, where you make Sajdah, where you stand for praying Salat. The earth must be clean and yourself also. Everything in your clothes, and you must make Wudu (ablution), you make Ghusl (fullbody ablution). You are clean then. With this, you can do your worship everywhere Insha Allah.
When you do ‘Ibadah, worship in some place, this place becomes light from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. With ‘Ibadah, Allah sends there His blessed looking. And when He is looking, there becomes light, Nur from Allah for this place. When you go inside every mosque and every Dergah, you

feel a good feeling. Whoever can see, can see light coming from there. And this light comes to the heart. And when the heart is lightened, it is happiness for the believer.
Alhamdulilah today we went to this place that they are claiming is for worshipping, but normally it’s not like this. What Sayyidina ‘Isa ‘alayhi s-salam/Jesus or Sayyidina Musa were ordering them to do from ‘Ibadah is not like this. For this, when you go to such places you feel heaviness, you be in darkness and sadness in this place. But also, we are Insha Allah going there for AllahInsha Allah to give light to many people there who are sincere people, for the light of Allah to come to their hearts. And maybe Allah gives them Hidayah (guidance) to go to the right way. Because they are very sincere people and very good people but they don’t know that what are doing is of no benefit.
We must go everywhere Allah is ordering, to give Allah ‘Azza waJalla’s message for human beings, to call them to the right way: the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is the mission for us. So of course, we cannot go and say, “Oh come and be Muslim.” Just our appearance makes them, as we said, if Allah has given them something, it will come from that point for the better and better Insha Allah.
And to do this, Insha Allah we first make ourselves also on the way of what Allah and Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam like us to do; to be better and better and better. And from your intention, you can bring somebody to the way of Allah And when you bring someone, this is the biggest favour from Allah for you.
Once, there was a big ‘Awliyau’LlahShaqīq al-Balkhī. He is from [the time] after the Sahabah, from Tabi’een. He was the student of Ibrahim ibn Adham, a big ‘Awliya also. He was following his Murid. He was talking about himself that during his youth, he was with young people and they were playing. Once, they were near a place for worshipping fire. This temple was for fire worshippers in Turkistan, in Central Asia. There were many people worshipping fire. “Majoosi” we call them.

Even when we were in Dagestan [we were told that] also before 300 or 400 years there were also many places where they were worshipping fire, Majoosi. I was surprised to hear about this. I thought they were finished a long time ago. But until maybe 300 years, they were still worshipping. And after this, with the Barakah of the Naqshbandi Mashayikh, they left that and became strong believers and strongly Muslim. Shaqīq al-Balkhī said that for enjoying themselves, they went inside this temple and saw one young man worshipping fire. Shaqīq alBalkhī told the young man, “What are you doing! This is not good. Don’t worship fire. Become a Muslim.” When he talked like this, this young man slapped him on his face. When he slapped him on his face, he said, “I understand. I have done something wrong because I am also not ready. I am not better than him. So what I have told him did not affect him. He didn’t take what I said, he even attacked me and hit me.” He was crying at himself. Because his ego was like this, he was crying to Allah asking for forgiveness. And after this, he looked at himself and was following Mashayikh and following ‘Ulama (scholars). He became better and he was famous between people. He became famous and he had many followers. Of course, he was with big ‘Awliya and big ‘Ulama. He was worshipping andmaking his ego under his feet. So many people were following him, loving him and taking Barakah from him.
Once also, he was going through the city. He saw this temple again. He said, “We will look what they are teaching these people, why they are not following the right way. Let’s go and see what they are doing.” And he went inside with his follower. When he went inside, he said that he saw one old man worshipping fire also. He told him, “O good man, pure man. What are you doing?” This man told him, “Tell me about Islam.” He told him and he quickly made Shahadah and became Muslim. That time, Shaqīq al-Balkhī said to him, “O nice old man. There was here, once before many years, one young boy, what happened to him? Where is he?” He said, “I am this man. I became old.” When he said this, SayyidinaShaqīq al-Balkhī said, “I was telling you at that time to become Muslim. Why didn’t you become Muslim at that time?” He said, “That time when you said this, what you told me didn’t affect me at all.

Because maybe you didn’t have this responsibility or what you said was without Himmah (support), without power. When you said this now, it directly came to my heart and made me surrender and become Muslim.”
This is an important thing: your sincerity. It is very important. Everything must be not by following your ego, but following Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhiwasallam: how he was acting, how he was affecting people, what he was doing. He was not looking after Dunya. Even once there are ladies here, many ladies his wives, after when in Madinah, they became rich. But Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was not looking at all after Dunya. They asked something from him – Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was very gentle. Not like our people, if they are saying something, quickly they are fighting with their wives, shouting doing this and that; no. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was never was not saying anything – So he was not happy, he doing this. When he was not happy with what they said. He didn’t come to them for one month. And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla said to them, “If you want Dunya, money, jewelry, gold, yes you can take this and go away from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. If you want Allah, you don’t look for this at all.” They said, “Yes we want Allah. We don’t want anything else.” This is the attribute of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and this is what he is teaching us.
With this, all millions and billions of people become Muslim from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And he showed us this way. The first thing: we must look at ourselves. Don’t look after Dunya. When you are looking to bring somebody to Iman, to the way of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, this is the biggest favor, the biggest victory for you. Trading with Allah is better than trading for Dunya. There are people looking at people who come, “How can I take from them?” No, don’t take. Ask from Allah. Don’t ask from people.

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem:‘’Wata‘āwanū ‘ala l-birri wa t-taqwāwa la ta‘āwanū ‘ala l-lithmīwa l-‘udwān’’ َ◌َ◌(Qur’ān 05:02).‘’And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.” This is the order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to help each other in charity, to help people in helping each other in everything. This is an order from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to our Prophet Sayyidina Muhammad sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
This is enough for human beings to understand how great it is to be with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and with His Messengers. They are only for teaching people, guiding people to the good thing. They are never wanting any bad thing for people, for human beings. They are trying to save them from the bad things in this life. And what’s more important: the second life, the real life. This life is nothing. Only – even not like opening your eyes and closing them compared to eternity.
For this, we Insha Allah must follow this order: to help. Every time, we must be helping people. Even if they are not helping you, even if they are harming you, if you help them you will be a beloved one for Allah and you will be happy. This is the order of Allah the rule of Allah. Many Awliyau’Llah were suffering and still helping people; they were not fed up, not running away. There is one saying, “To be patient with who

harms you is good manners. But to be not only patient but to do goodness to who does you badness, these are the real good people.” Maybe you can be patient with who does you badness; you run away from them. But if you are patient and you do a good thing for who does you a bad thing, these are the real honorable people. Very few people do this. And these people are Awliyau’Llah, the beloved ones for Allah.
And the continuation of this verse is,‘Walata‘āwanū ‘ala l-lithmīwa l‘udwān’’‘‘But do not cooperate in sin and aggression.’‘ (Qur’ān 05:02).Don’t help each other to harm people, to do a bad thing for people. Don’t do this. Even if your tribe, your people are doing so, you mustn’t. Because people like to help each other in everything. Some people are even harming people and oppressing people, the others don’t say, “Don’t do this” but help them.
This is what happened in ancient times, which is mentioned in Surat Yasin. The disciples of Sayyidina ‘Isa ‘alayhi s-salam went to this city, they call it Antakya. The city where there was a big earthquake now. The whole city didn’t accept the disciples and didn’t accept the truth. This good man who was a carpenter, Najjar. His name was Habib anNajjar: meaning Habib the carpenter. He came and told his people, “O, don’t make this. These people are good. They are advising you to be good people to save you from badness.” They were angry at him. They threw him [on the ground] and were stepping on him. And they killed him like this. But he said, which is mentioned in Qu’ran, in Yasin, “O, I wish my people would now how I am now!” He was in paradise. But in Dunya his [situation] was very bad that they killed him by stepping on him. Even with all that, he wished his people to be good. Even in Akhirah, they are wishing goodness for people.
May Allah make us to try to be like them Insha Allah.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. [..] They were merciful towards everything. One example of this is: once they were fighting in war. One Sahabi was fighting with a non-Muslim one. So when you are fighting if they say, “O stop! I will become Muslim.” You cannot touch them. One time, one person was fighting the Sahabi very aggressively, but he won over him and wanted to kill him. But he said, “O I will become Muslim.” He [Sahabi] said, “He is afraid from my sword” and he killed him. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was very unhappy with this. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said to this Sahabi, “Why did you do this?” He said, “He is afraid from my sword, to not kill him.” Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said, “Did you open his heart and look if [what he said] is real or not real?” Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam repeated this many times.
As we said, there are millions of examples about Mu’min people. The Mu’min is who believes and accepts what Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying. Of course, many people are saying they are Muslim, but in reality they don’t have any belief, they don’t have anything. Since the time of the Prophet, they have been making this Fitnah everywhere. The real Mu’mins, believers are fighting to make what Allah wants them to do, to defend Islam, to defend their family and their place.There are many examples about this, but there is one, the famous one. In 19th Century in the Caucasus, where there is Dagestan, Chech-

nya and other. He is Sheikh Shāmil. He fought against the Russian Empire for more than 25 years. He also was not doing anything for the people who were not fighting him. He was only fighting the big army of the Russian Tzar, and he won every time. They even sent him a small army, they couldn’t win over him. After that, the Tzar got very angry. He ordered his commander, “Get the general and the others.” 50,000 very strong army went to them. He won over them and took many things from them. And they were running away. The second time, the Tzar ordered stronger generals. He even sent some of them who had fought with Napoleon Bonaparte and had won him. So he sent them with a stronger army, army of 60,000 and also couldn’t win on them.
But after this, what did they do, those who are unbelievers? They went to a village. In Caucasus there is a mountain, a high mountain where it’s difficult to go to. They couldn’t go after them. So they were attacking the village on the plains; which is only a flat place. They were killing people, torturing them. They were doing this to make Sheikh Shāmil surrender and accept what they want. They did this. And when the people came to Sheikh Shāmil’s mother telling her to ask him to make peace with these people to not torture them, she was very sad and she told him about this. When she told him this, he became very sad and he was crying because of what these people were saying. After that, he went to the mosque because he wanted to give an order: who asks [to make peace] from these people must be punished. His mother was very shocked from that and very unhappy with what happened.
Normally when something difficult happens to him, he goes to the mosque, makes Khalwah (seclusion) and prays. He sits the whole time they’re fasting, until something comes as ‘Ilham (inspiration) to him. He was a very beloved one for Allah. He was asking for Madad from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And he was a Naqshbandi Murid also of Sheikh Jamaluddin al-Ghumuqi, whose grave is in Istanbul.
After many days, he went out. And because it is an order, his mother must come to the court of the city and she must accept the decision they

give, he said. Of course, his mother was very regretful of what she said, but she was a very strong lady, a very strong woman. She asked from Allah to make this court not give any reduction, any less punishment. To tell people just what justice says. She was praying for this: for not to have a special [treatment] as the mother of Imam Shāmil. Imam Shāmil also said that they must say what’s just. And he was giving the decision. She is guilty, they said. And for the guilty, there must be 100 lashes. Sheikh Shāmil carried the whip and everybody was unhappy because she is his mother and they love him. All these people were loving Sheikh Shāmil and they would give [sacrifice] themselves instead of him. But Sheikh Shāmil said, “No, this is the decision. My mother is guilty. She gets this punishment: 100 lashes. But because she is making this for me, and with a good intention: she was merciful for other people to help them. So she is guilty but because I am her son, I will take this punishment upon myself.” When the people heard this, they were crying, “How will our Imam be whipped!” But no one can object any of his words. So he took his shirt off and told these people, “You must whip me as strong as you can. Don’t make it slow.” He went there and they began to whip him. All the people were crying for him. But he wasn’t saying anything; not any voice [came from him] until the 100 lashes were finished. His whole back was covered with blood. When they finished, he said, “Thank you O Allah, I made it.” And he made a Shukr Sajdah.
Alhamdulilah with his Barakah, even after the Russians took it and made it like the communists; it was eighty years under their command and control – We first went with Mawlana Sheikh in 1997 I think or 1995; something like this – You wouldn’t believe that this country was under the control of a communist, secular, atheistic government for eighty years. You’ll think it is much better than many Muslim countries.
This is one example. There are still millions of examples about people with real belief who are merciful to people. Because even in their time, they sacrificed themselves. But this sacrifice didn’t go for nothing. They

are alive. Allah says:“Bal `Aĥyā’un `Inda RabbihimYurzaqūn”, “Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” (Qur’ān 03:169). Of course, shaytan is not stopping. He has many tricks. So he said to the new people, “Don’t be believers. No need to be believers. Don’t believe anything. Only believe yourself. You read the Qur’an, there’s no need for Hadith also. What you understand from the Qur’an, you can do.” Without these good people, the believers, nothing would be left from Islam in this area. But with these believers, Islam was alive and coming again to all of this area. For this, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying to these people, “Don’t say you are believers. Only say ‘We are Muslim’.” Believers are more precious and more acceptable in the Divine Presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
May Allah help Muslims to be Mu’mins, to be believers Insha Allah. Amin.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunassohba, wa khayru fil jamiyya.
May Allah make our Majlis Barakah and Khayr (goodness) for all of who are here and for all of who are watching this gathering. Our Tariqah, the Naqshbandi Tariqah has two pillars: one is Sohbah, and one is KhatmulKhwajagan. This is our way, way of the Golden Chain: from Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until Mawlana Sheikh Nazim Insha Allah.
Alhamdulilah we have been with Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah. But of course, in the childhood or as teenagers, we were not understanding too much about many of the things he was saying. Many of them, we didn’t understand. One of these is he said: “I am illiterate. I am not preparing for the Sohabh. I’m just here like” – at that time there was no internet, no anything – he said, “I am like a radio. They are sending from there and I am speaking.” This is what he was saying, and I was wondering about that. According to a child’s thinking, and that time there wasn’t like this: too much electronics or machines. We didn’t even have – Mawlana Sheikh didn’t have a radio in his house. So I was wondering: how was this coming? Them giving him and he speaking from what he hears? I didn’t know. After that, we Alhamdulilah it came. When he asks Madad, they are giving what people are in need of. They are giving him what the gathering needs. They send him and he advises everybody.Whether understanding or not understanding, with his Barakah

the whole gathering takes benefit. Maa Sha Allah he was making Sohbah every day after Dhuhr for nearly more than 2 hours. And how many people would you think were listening to this Sohbah? Maybe the most crowd were ten or twelve people. On the Day of Jum’ah, when there was Khatm and Sohbah, maybe seventy or sixty people only. And he was speaking deep [Sohbah], but when the people were hearing, they were not understanding how deep it is. They were just listening and understanding what the common people understand; not understanding the meaning. All of them were just sitting for Barakah. And of course with the blessings coming on this gathering, they were very happy. They were like the drunk from this, [which was coming] like a heavy shower of blessings and Barakah upon them.
Many of them don’t know anything. They came like this and went after that without – only with the Barakah of Mawlana. But who only understood was Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. He was taking all his knowledge from his Sheikh, Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, and he distributed it to the whole world. He was only for the sake of Allah following his Sheikh. He left everything behind him, not looking after Dunya, not looking after anything. He left everything and came to his Sheikh with his intention. And Allah, for his intention, made him to understand.
Good intention – Allah helps who has a good intention. Because Mawlana Sheikh Nazim from the beginning, from nothing, and Allah gave him everything. Before he got married and until he got married, he was intending to not put any money in his pocket. Seven years, he didn’t put [money in his pocket]. After that, Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah said, “You must take this.” He wasn’t asking from anybody, “Give me. Help me.” Never. In these seven years, he was traveling. At that time, he was traveling in Syria because in many places they wanted to know about Tariqah. He was going to Syria and Lebanon. And he was even traveling to Cyprus. To go to Cyprus, it was by ship or by plane. Also without anything, Allah helped him and he was going and coming. He was doing everything. He is, Maa Sha Allah, our light. You are lucky you – he finds you, not you find him. He finds you. Until now, as I’m saying eve-

ry time, he is still acting more than before. Many people are coming for Shahadah and for Tariqah through his order in dreams. He is coming to people, “Go take Shahadah. Go be in Tariqah.”
His title is Haqqani. He got it in 1979 I think, or 1978. I had a shop so my partner, our Murid, came and said, “Today Mawlana was saying in Sohbah, ‘Today I got this title: Haqqani’.” The Haqqani title. Which means to give everybody his right. Haqqani means who gives rights. Who is extremely on the [way of] truth. There are many examples but we give a small example about Mawlana. When he wants to buy something, Mawlana was bargaining, “How much is this?” He said, “This is ten pounds.” He was bargaining. He said, “No, I will give you twelve.” [Mawlana laughs] This is his attribute. He never [rejects] people who ask. He wants to give more not less. He says, “They are poor people. They must get more. We will not be rich if we bargain and make it a little bit less.” But when you seethis, from his happiness he makes Dua. And this Dua is more expensive (valuable) from what we will get from bargaining.
Alhamdulilah, until his last days, he never [kept money], just as Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. When some money comes as Hadiyyah (gift) for him, he was quickly sending his servant to distribute all this money. Until Fajr, not any money is left. All Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, many of them have this attribute. Especially Sayyidatina Nafisa atTahira, she is the granddaughter of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wasallam. She also was like this. Ofcourse in his last days, he wasn’t even touching them. “Whatever it is, give everything. Send to this, to that, to that, to this.” Until the morning, everything would be clean; nothing left.
So Alhamdulilah, as we were saying from the beginning of this Sohbah, Mawlana Sheikh kept Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah’s inheritance of Sohbah, of the understanding of Sohbah. And he made all these people: from east to west, from the (most) poorest until the Sultan, until the President, until the Prime Minister, to be a Murid for him and to love

him. When they are hearing about him, they are praising him. This is all the Barakah of his good understanding and good teaching of his Sheikh, Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, our Grand Sheikh. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Laqad Kāna Lakum Fī RasūliLlāhi ‘Uswatun Hasana’’ ”There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example.’ (Qur’ān 33:21). ṢadaqaLlāhu l-‘aẓīm.
