WHO IS THE IGNORANT? Saturday, 2 June 2023 / 13 Dhul Qa’dah 1444 Prior to Jum’ah Prayer at Masjid Anwar-EMadina – Surrey, Canada.
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. We are Alhamdulilah happy to be with the brothers, Muslim brothers in this place which is normally for people who are not believers. But, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: ”Inna l-‘Arda li-Llāhi Yūrithuhā Man Yashā’u Min ‘Ibādihi’’ “Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants.’’ (Qur’ān 07:128).
Land is for Allah, not for anybody. We are here just with His will. Our Rizq is here, we are here. We are not coming to take this with us to the next life. We are here only for a short while. For this, we are not saying, “This is for us” or “That is for this.”
Everywhere we go, we must remember this. Remember Allah ‘Azza waJalla; not forget ourselves, not forget for what Allah created us. Allah created us for worshipping Him, to accept Him, to show the way for people who are in need for this way. Don’t be like them. They must be like you. They must imitate you. What you have from knowledge, nobody has. Even if they have universities or other things, who doesn’t know his Creator is Jahil, ignorant. Who knows his Lord, his Creator Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, even if he doesn’t know how to write or to read, he is a knowledgeable one, an acceptable one; not from Jahil, not from ignorant ones. Ignorance is a very bad thing, the worst thing for human beings. Allah sent the first Ayah to Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam,

“Iqra’” Learn. This is the way of our Prophet. Whatever you learn: you learn mathematics, you learn architecture Yes, you can learn this, there’s no problem. But if you learn this without knowing the important thing, you are ignorant, you are Jahil.
So keep your belief strong. Our belief, Ahlu s-Sunnah walJama’ah: we believe in Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, Prophets, ‘Awliyau’Llah and Sahabah. All of this. We believe in Karamah of ‘Awliya and Mujizat (miracles) of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. This is our belief. If you leave any one of these, your belief will become weaker and weaker and weaker. After that, you will melt and go in this area. You will be nothing. But if you don’t melt, you will be light for others also, to be knowledgeable Insha Allah.
May Allah keep us with strong ‘Iman and with knowledge to know our Lord Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, to know ourselves, to know Allah ‘Azza waJallaInsha Allah.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: ‘‘InnaLlāha ma‘alladhīna ittaqawwalladhīna hum muḥsinūn’’ (Qur’ān 16:128). ‘‘Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good.’’ ṢadaqaLlāhu l-‘aẓīm.Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla said that Allah is with the believer who is doing everything according to Allah’s [pleasure] – Allah ‘Azza waJalla is mentioning in Qur’an ‘Azimush-Shan that Allah is with people who are afraid of Allah and do good things helping people. Allah is with these people. An important thing in this Ayah: Some people can do for show, but Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla knows what’s in your heart, what’s in our hearts.
For this, the first thing is to be for the sake of Allah’s happiness and what Allah likes to be in our heart. This is the first aim for the believer, for the Mu’min.
Especially for Tarīqah people, this is very important. Other people, in everything they do they are looking if people will be happy with them, or they’ll be famous, or people will follow them and look at what they are doing. All of this is not for the sake of Allah. They are doing this for the sake of their ego, for themselves. They think it will be of pleasure for them to do this. And of course, most of what they are doing is nonsense. It is of no benefit for anybody and of no benefit at all for them. The ben-

efit for them is they must know [how] to be sincere for Allah. And to do everything for the sake of Allah, not for the sake of their ego; to make their ego bigger and bigger and bigger. No, this is not good for human beings.
The way of Allah Alhamdulilah we are in this way, the way of Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam, the way of Ahlu l-Bayt and way of ‘Awliyau’Llah, believers. The way of Tarīqah is to make human beings train themselves and train their egos to be pure for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and pure for Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam. When you do this, you are not in need of anybody to be happy with you or not happy with you; this is not important. When Allah is happy with you, everybody will be happy with you. But if you are not happy with Allah ‘Azza waJalla, nobody will be interested in you. You are doing something for yourself, for your pleasure, for your ego. And this is the wrong way.
Our way Alhamdulilah is with following Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhiwasallam and all Sahabah, Ahlu l-Bayt and Madhhabs. Of course Alhamdulilah we are following the four Madhhabs, Ahlu s-Sunnah walJama’ah which is the way of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And of course in each Madhhab, there is easiness for some kind of people, and some kind of people are not familiar with that. There are four options, you can follow any one of them. Because all are accepted by ‘Ulama and are accepting Ahlu l-Bayt. And because they are accepting all Ahlu lBayt and all the Sahabah; not leaving anybody.
Don’t think that Ahlu l-Bayt are as these people are thinking: not following Shari’ah. They were the most strongly holding of Shari’ah. Even onceImam ‘A’zam, Imam Abu Hanifah, the Biggest Imam. They say ‘A’zam which means the Biggest Imam. Every scholar had been accepting this until nowadays. Ofcourse nowadays, there are many enemies for him because he is the strongest one against who are out of Shari’ah and nobody can beat him. When they are attacking him, this means they are attacking all of our belief, even attacking Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.He was – many people don’t know. They thought he is just

one like ‘Alim, like Sheikh, not knowing anything. He was from the beginning a very rich one and he traded with silk. He was very honest and didn’t accept anything Haram. Once his partner made something wrong. He sold something without knowing that something was wrong with it, and the man accepted it and took it. But he wasn’t happy with this. He said to his partner, “Give all this money for Sadaqah.” And after this also, because his partner was not careful, he left him. He was doing his business by himself. Then, he met one ‘Alim who told him “You must learn something.” After this, he was learning and left his business for somebody to look after it. He was not afraid from [saying] anything from reality. He was saying everything he knew and learned. He didn’t only learn Fiqh and other; he also knew medicine, mathematics, algebra. He knew everything. He was very brilliant. For this, they were calling him and his name was Imam ‘A’zam. He is a proof for everything.
So once of course these people have enemies. People are jealous from them and are every time making something against them for people not to love them. Once, he was in Makkah or Madinah. He saw Sayyidina Imam Muḥammad al-BāqirradiyaLlahu‘anhu, karrama Allahu wajhah. He saw him and said to him, “Who are you?”“Salam, I am Abu Hanifah.”Sayyidina Imam Muḥammad al-Bāqir was angry at him, telling him, “You are the one who is not accepting my grandfather’s Hadith and you are giving Fatwa for yourself. How dare you do this!” Abu Hanifah said, “Never! All my life is for Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wasallam. What you said is wrong! I came here to be dust here, for the end of my life to be here. I am following his Hadith. What I find in Hadith, I give. What I don’t find, I don’t give. And I’ll give you an example for this,” he said [continuing], “Who is the weakest: women or men?” He [al-Bāqir] said, “Women of course.”Sayyidina Imam al-Bāqir continued, “Of course women are weaker than men.” Sayyidina Abu Hanifah said, “In Qur’an it is said that for the woman inheritor there is the half, for men one. If I’m giving according to my ideas, it must be one for the woman and half for the man, because she is weaker.”

Sayyidina Abu Hanifah also said, “Is urine more dirty or is sperm more dirty?” He said, “Of course urine is more dirty. Sperm is clean because human beings are coming from it.” He said, “If urine is more dirty, so every time they urinate, they must make Ghusl. If you’re saying this according to your mentality or I’m saying this according to my mentality, it must be like this. Because if dirty, you must make Ghusl. But they are not making Ghusl every time after urinating. Only when sperm is coming, they must make Ghusl.”
And he asked also, “Which is more rewarded and is a strong ‘I’badah: praying or fasting?” Al-Bāqir said, “Of course praying because we are doing it everyday.” He said, “In Ramadan, when women have their period, she fasts after Ramadan to make up what she left. But for praying, she doesn’t make them up. For seven days or ten days [of the period], she doesn’t pray and she doesn’t make them up later. If it was according to my ideas, it is stronger to repeat [make up for] praying not fasting.” When Imam al-Bāqir heard this, he said, “I am very happy with you.” And he kissed him from his head.
This is what all Imams are: they are following very strongly. Even for Sayyidina Abu Hanifah who is Imam ‘A’zam they are not listening if ‘Imam ‘A’zam’ or ‘Not Imam ‘A’zam’. They are not listening at all. They are only looking at what he’s doing. Not affected by people who are saying this and saying that. No, they are strongly [following].
But of course those who are following the Imams, even Sunni people, think they are not [following Shari’ah] they were very very tough in following Shari’ah; not leaving anything. But people are not looking at this, they are only saying, “We are following Imam, all Imam, the 12 Imam.” The 12 Imam are not happy with what these people are doing. These people are not following. They are following what they like to follow. They imagine and think that these people are like them. No, they are giants. They cannot be like them. We must try to follow them as much as we can. And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives according to your intention.

We must depend on Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to support us and send good people for us also Insha Allah. We are very few people in big place, living with unbelievers. They are not accepting any religion and not accepting anything. Because of course most of them who have religion, their religion is not enough for them and they are hiding the good thing, and saying bad things about the good thing and not accepting. Because if they are accepting, all of this country will be believer and accept Allah. But when they do this, shaytan will not be happy and his followers will not be happy.
Allah [says] there is a time for everything. We are waiting with patience. Insha Allah all of this the whole world, not only here will Insha Allah be believers with Sayyidina Al-Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam. We are living in a time, it is really every day it is becoming more tight and more tight for believers. You cannot say anything and they are tying your hands, your legs, tying your head and everything. And after that, they are saying, “Come and wrestle with us.” How can we do! [Mawlana laughs].
But a time will come when all of this will open and insha’Allah the light of Islam, the light of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam will be from east to west, north to south Insha Allah. This is what Mawlana Sheikh was giving us good tidings about. And he was waiting for this. But Insha Allah we believe we will reach Insha Allah. Because everything is getting more difficult. There is one Qasidah that Mawlana Sheikh was saying,QasidahAl-Munfarijah:”,“Ishtaddi ‘AzmahTanfariji” “Difficulties intensify (aggravate) and so follows the opening.” This is a little bit of a long Qasidah. It means difficult times increase more and more and there becomes darkness, more oppression, more unbelief, more coming against Allah, coming against Prophet, coming against humanity; it comes, comes, and comes, until it reaches the top then after this it will finish Insha Allah.
They say, the darkest time is the night and after comes the light. And now we are really living in a time where it’s darkness everywhere. Nobody is happy. Everybody – even if they are living in a little bit better

country, people are not happy. They are anxious. If not from thinking about their family, then from thinking about other things: “What will happen? These people are coming here. These people are going there. These people are doing this.” Everybody, the whole world is in a situation of unhappiness. Of course it will be like this until the light comes Insha Allah. And after this there will be happiness Insha Allah. May Allah make these days come quickly before more difficulty comes Insha Allah, to reach these happy days Insha Allah. Because when you reach these happy days, it is happiness for here and for Akhirah also. The most important thing is Akhirah. May Allah help us. May Allah keep you and keep us safe in this Dunya.
You must be together, help each other and Insha Allah help poor people. As much as you help, Allah sends more. If you only think that what we have will finish, it finishes. But when you give, Allah gives you more Insha Allah. May Allah make our Dergahs more and more. As Mawlana Sheikh, ‘Aa’la Allahu Darajatih (May Allah increase his rank) said, Insha Allah his intention is for 40,000 Dergahs.
May Allah make each Dergah a center for light, for following the real Islam, following Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam, following Madhhabs, following Ahlu l-Bayt and following all Imams Insha Allah.

[…] island, many people don’t know where it is. But Alhamdulilah Allah made Nur ul-Islam (The Light of Islam) to go to a very far place. And from there to come here is also from Allah’s will. You are lucky people. You are chosen by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. To give good teaching for yourself and your family, to keep Islam.
To keep Islam is very difficult in this time. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhiwasallam is saying about the end of times,“The one holding onto the religion will be like grasping onto hot embers.” Who is practicing Islam and holding onto Islam is as catching fire in his hand. It is a very difficult time but Alhamdulilah who gets it must be thankful for Allah for what He gave him. To thank Allah for this Ni’mah that many people don’t have.
Don’t think this whole Dunya is worth anything in the Divine Presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It is nothing. Even not as the wing of a mosquito. The value of millions of mosquitoes is nothing. The whole Dunya isn’t worth not even the wings of all mosquitoes but one wing in the Divine Presence of Allah. For this, what you have from Iman, from Islam is the biggest Ni’mah, the biggest mercy, the biggest blessing from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for our people who are practicing and making a place for praying, making a place for teaching children Qur’an, teaching children

good manners, manners of Islam which is the best manners for human beings.
Of course, who do not believe, it is not good for them. Without seeing, they are saying this. But normally, who follows Islam, his life is good. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Man `Amila Şāliĥāan Min Dhakarin `Aw `Unthá Wa Huwa Mu`uminun Fala nuĥyiyannahu Ĥayāatan Ţayyibatan”, “Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer We will surely cause him to live a good life.” (Qur’ān 16:97). “Sweet life”, Allah Azza wa-Jalla said, “Goodlife.”And for Akhirah,”“Wal-Ākhiratu Khayr”,“While the Hereafter is better.” (Qur’ān 87:17) Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is also saying. Who follows the order of Allah and is going in His way, his life will be happy, sweet and easy. And for Akhirah, much better. This is the promise of Allah ‘Azza waJalla.“Inna AllāhaLā Yukhlifu Al-Mī`ād”, “Verily, Allah never breaks His Promise.” (Qur’ān 03:09) says Allah ‘Azza waJalla. ṢadaqaLlāhu l-‘aẓīm. When Allah promises, His promise is not like human beings. They promise and they don’t do. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s promise must be.
For this, an advice for human beings: don’t look for what your ego, what shaytan and what bad people want you to do. Do what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying. When you do what other people are saying and advising they are not advising for your benefit or other people’s, what they are advising is for the benefit of shaytan. Because what they advise is destroying human beings, destroying people: Muslims and nonMuslims; it is not different. They are doing harm. Even if non-Muslims are following the teaching of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, in the end they will be winners. Their life will be a better life. Everything will be better and with Barakah. Their health will be better and their spirituality will become better. And from this, maybe Allah will give Hidayah for them also.
Akhirah is the most important thing. In Dunya, many people are thinking they are happy. But in Dunya, nobody is happy, nobody is satisfied.

They want more things. They bring more and more and more to make themselves happy, to make themselves feel better. But each time comes another thing, “We want this. We want that.” Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, only earth can finish this greed in human beings. Without dying, even if he is a hundred years old, he still wants many things. He thinks he will be living forever.
These people who are not in the way of Allah cheat themselves and cheat others also. Because who is a believer knows that his way is to Akhirah. We are traveling to Akhirah. We are not sitting in our place. Even if we are sitting, the time is passing. This is our journey: going and going and going until we find Insha Allah our Lord with Iman. This is the most important thing; not Dunya. We are creatures of Allah. Allah created us and this is His will for us. By His will, we came to this world, to Dunya. And by His will, when our time comes, we will go to Him also. Coming from Him and going to Him also. This is very important.
Everything we do, every minute, every second, we must remember this. Dhikr means to remember. Ofcourse you say we mention “Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah”, but the real Dhikr is in your heart mentioning Allah all the time, remembering Allah all the time; not one second without Him. And this gives you reward from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in everything you are doing. Allah ‘Azza waJalla says in Hadith Qudsi that who remembers Him, is making his worshiping and coming [closer] more and more with Tasbih, Tahlil, Nafl prayers and charity, they become (more) nearer to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
Tarīqah is showing this way, not showing the bad thing. Many people are also cheating people, “Tarīqah is not good. They are not doing anything.” We are doing the most important thing. The other things, we are also doing. But when you do this most important thing when you do your business, your job, your work, everything you do you remember Allah, Allah also rewards you as you are worshipping. Because you are the whole time with Him, the whole time asking for His blessings. And Allah is Generous, He is giving His blessings.

He is not Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, ”WaLlāhu yad‘ūiládāri ssalām’’ “And Allah invites to the Home of Peace (i.e. Paradise).’’ (Qur’ān 10:25).
Allah calls you to His Paradise, to His Jannah. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is not greedy. If the whole universe is coming, Jannah/Paradise is enough for them. But people, by following their ego and what they desire, they are running away. Allah is calling, they are running. Allah is calling to Paradise, they are running to hell, to Jahannam. Running, giving money, running after these people, “Oh take us! Take us to hell!” This is what they are doing. Allah ‘Azza waJalla is saying, “Come to Paradise. Come to Me.” But very few people are listening to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Even who are believers, many of them are forgetting. They are imitating nonbelievers and imitating bad people.
We are asking Allah to protect us, to protect Muslims: young and old. All of them are living in a time, a very dangerous time for Iman, for everything. We are living a time, what Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wasallam called, the end of times. Many people are saying, “Oh for Qiyamah, there is a long time.” How do you say this and Qur’an Azimush-Shan says:‘‘Iqtarabatis-sā‘atu’,‘“TheHour has come near.’’ (Qur’ān 54:01). The time is coming closer. It is very near. This is from the time of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. So now it is more and more very near. And Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam showed by his fingers and said, “The time between me and Qiyamah is as close as the sun is ready to set after Asr.”
Qiyamah is very near. Don’t think it is far. You must be ready. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is also saying, “When the Mu’min dies, Qiyamah happens for him. Because when he dies, he then opens his eyes for Mah’shar.
But now, the reality also for the whole world is the end of time. Everything has reached its peak. They are not accepting Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, not accepting our Prophet, not accepting any good thing. Every bad

thing, they accept. Every good thing, they prevent, not accept. They want to destroy humanity. They want to destroy this earth. This is not human beings, this is shaytan.
But it is mentioned in the Hadiths of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wasallam that this will be, “And after this will come one from my descendants, my grand grand son. He will fill the whole world justice, peace and Barakah.” Sayyidina AlMahdi alayhi s-salam. We are waiting for him. Insha’Allah very near. We hope Insha Allah we will meet him Insha Allah. To finish this Kufr from earth Insha Allah. May Allah help us. May Allah keep us safe and our children, Muslim children here and anywhere in the world. Now because they are in danger. They have everything coming until their houses, in their hands. They are under a big attack from this. Every house has this.
For this, we are asking. Our weapon is our prayers. “The weapon of the believer is Dua.” We must pray, make Dua asking protection from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May Allah protect us and protect our children and Muslim children also in the whole world Insha Allah. And we are asking and praying for Sayyidina Al-Mahdi to come and to save us from this. Because without him now shaytan controls everything, you cannot do anything.
May Allah save us Insha Allah.

Ash-Shukrulilah, Alhamdulilah. We are thanking Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for making this trip happen to this country in a continent far away from our place. We are thanking Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for making us see what He created from beauty. Everything He creates is beauty. But for some places He gives more, and for some places less. This is His wisdom. But life, our life in Dunya, as we said yesterday, is temporary not permanent. For this, you must be thankful for Allah gave you. Every time, we be thankful for Him.
Of course, it is His will to take you from place to place, from country to country. If your provision is there, you must have it there. You cannot take it in your country. For this, you must be thankful for Allah every time, asking more rewards and more protection from our ego and from being cheated by this world. Ask protection from Allah because this is very important.
We are living in life, each step is full of traps. You don’t know what will happen. You cannot say after one hour what we will do. You don’t know what will happen. We are living just in this time. Next, Before and Now; three. As Sayyidina Jalāluddīn Rumi said, “Yesterday went. Today we are here. Tomorrowwe don’t know.” You must only be every minute you are in life, you must be thankful for Allah and be aware not

to do something that will make you unhappy forever. This is very important.
You don’t know at all. Nobody knows. Those who are scientists, scholars or others nobody can tell you what will happen tomorrow. Of course, they are saying, “There will be after a million years, after a billion years, something like this, something like that.” But this is also not sure. They are saying after a million years, yet they don’t know after one hour what will happen. Maybe after one hour, they won’t be in this world anymore.
The important thing is to know yourself. What are we? We are in the Hand of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is what you must know “Man A’rifaNafsahFaqadA’rifa Rabbah”, “Whoever knows himself, knows his Lord” says Sayyidina Muhyiddin Ibn Al-ʿArabī. Who knows himself, knows his Lord. Sometimes it is so difficult to understand this. Some people think that it is when they will know their Lord Allah ‘Azza waJalla. This means if you know you are nothing, you will know the Mightiness of your Lord Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is important. This is what we must know. Not know how is He doing this or what He is. No, this is not knowledge. You cannot reach this; what they are saying. But the real meaning is to know yourself that you are a servant for Him and He is your Lord. This is what Muhyiddin Ibn Al-ʿArabī is saying.
Sayyidina Ibn Al-ʿArabī is a great Sheikh. They call him “Sheikh ulAkbar”, “The Greatest Sheikh.” He was a scholar and he was Sufi. And many people are taking his words to another direction. Because it is difficult to understand him. And when you don’t understand him, you don’t go in the same direction, you might go directly to the opposite of his direction. Many people are taking his book and reading, but you must know what you read. And what you read, you must ask people who know this, real people. Because 99% from a thousand or from ten thousand people you can maybe find somebody to understand this. And the others, all of them are not understanding at all.

For this, we are asking Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to give us, support us from knowledge from His Divine Presence. Maybe if you understand two words, it’s better for you to read all the books of ‘Awliya or Ahlu Allah, who are great masters. Even if you are many people when sitting in front of Mawlana or Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, they are never understanding anything from his Sohbahs, from his lectures. They are understanding, as we said, like what they are understanding from Sayyidina Muhyiddin Ibn Al-ʿArabī: the opposite direction. If not the opposite direction, also to the other side; not correct.
For this, don’t think who is not following Mawlana Sheikh Nazim and only listens to Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani is a great Awliya, a great Sheikh. No, don’t think this. This is also a trick from your ego, to make you finish what you get from blessings from these big Awliya, from them. You must be thankful for Allah that he made you listen to Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. Because he has the real understanding of Grand Sheikh, Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani. Others, when they are saying something, they are making people confused and they are making people run away from reality. Because people know, more or less, what is Shari’ah and what is Tarīqah. And when somebody who doesn’t understand is talking, it becomes not good, it becomes bad.
There is an example story of this. Once one big scholar in Baghdad wanted to pass this big river in Baghdad. There was no bridge at that time, so they must go by a small boat. So he was going and he was proud, “This man was not knowing, he is ignorant.” He was asking about something. The one taking him to the other side said, “I don’t know”. The one running the boat. After a little while it is a big river also. So wind came and the boat began to shake and was about to sink. This poor man steering the boat asked him, “Do you know how to swim?” He said, “No.” He said, “Your whole life will be gone now.” He also said, “Half doctor makes you finish your life. Half ‘Alim makes you go to Jahannam.”
For this, we must be careful for this. This is very important: not to take from what we hear or what is said. We must take from a real one. Maw-

lana Sheikh Alhamdulilah has his books and videos everywhere. Many people who are not even interested in anything, they are looking now on this machine and saying how a great one he is! He was saying good things. Mawlana Sheikh has never said, “This is from me.” He every time says, “This is from Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah. From Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah.” But there are many people who say, “I was there. I was this. I was that.” But what happened is not good. What happened is bad.
Whoever is in Tarīqah must not give his idea (opinion) and not follow his ego. You must crush your ego. You must be humble. AlhamduliLlah we see many great scholars, great ‘Alims, when they are coming to Mawlana, they are humble, they are accepting, they are knowing who the real one is, who has knowledge, whom Allah gave real knowledge. They are accepting Awliyau’Llah, accepting Ulama, not giving anything for themselves. This is the teaching of Awliyau’Llah, teaching of Mashayikh. Because they are living, as we said in the beginning of the Sohbah, in this time, in the same time, not planning what will happen later. “If I say this, maybe people will not be happy with me. I will lose my students. I will lose this.” No, they are knowing and accepting because this is not for Dunya but for Akhirah. Your intention must be [for good] and you must also do by action sometimes. Many times your intention is maybe to do a good thing but you cannot do it. But what you can do, you must do without any fear from losing something. If you are thinking like this, you will lose everything. You lose everything you have if you do this.
This is our Tarīqah, our way. Tariqah Naqshbandiyya, all 40 Tarīqah are for humbleness. Others who are outside of Tarīqah are proud and are saying, “I am this. I am that. I am doctor. I am professor. I am this. I am that.” This is not from our Tarīqah. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim was all the time making fun at those who say, “I am doctor.” Somebody came to Mawlana saying, “I am doctor of Shari’ah.” Mawlana said [raising his sleeve], “Look at me here, at my pulse.” [Mawlana laughs] He said, “No, no, I’m not this doctor.” Mawlana said, “Oh really. What’s the

benefit of a doctor for Shari’ah. You give medicine for people for Shari’ah.” Sometimes shaytan makes people funny without them knowing they are doing a funny thing; they think they are doing good. If you are a doctor, you are a doctor, don’t say. You must know humbleness. If you know this, Allah will make you greater.
Whoever is humble for Allah, Allah Himself raises him. But when he raises himself by himself, Allah makes him down.May Allah keep us safe from our ego Insha Allah.
Alhamdulilah we are since three weeks [in Canada]. Allah gave real beauty and everything to this country. But people must be thankful for this and not forget Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and not come against Him. It is also a test. Sometimes Allah makes a test with a good thing. And sometimes making a test with a bad thing.
But here, Allah gave all of this and we must be thankful for Him. This is what He wants from us. But if “La`in Shakartum La’azīdannakum, WaLa`inKafartum `Inna `AdhābīLashadīdun”, “`If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe’.” (Qur’ān 14:07).“If you are not thankful and you come against Me, after this you will be unhappy. You will be in big trouble.”Even if you have everything [on the outside], it can be that Allah burns you from your inside. You are in Paradise but you are burning from the inside, you cannot feel any happiness, anything from this happiness. But maybe you can be like Sayyidina‘Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salam, he was in fire but it was like Paradise for him.
It is also like this for human beings. All the time in this world until the man or woman dies, it is like this. It is not your permanent place. It is only we are travelers. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says “Travelers.” Maa Sha Allah I see sometimes we pray Seferi (Qasr Prayer during Travel) every time because we are Hanafi. We must for 15 days pray Seferi. After 15 days, we can pray 4 Rak’aat. But normally, we make Fard 2 Rak’aat. I saw new Muslims or who are not understanding,

they are praying 2 Rak’aat with us and making Salam. Once we asked one [who did this], “You are not a traveler!” He said, “No, no I am a traveler also! We are going to Akhirah!” [Mawlana laughs].
May Allah help us Insha Allah. Thank you for all of you for this. Our people made us feel very we made them tired. All the time, the whole 24 hours, making Khidmah, making service. Insha Allah this is for the sake of Allah. Allah rewards them Insha Allah.

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. We are Alhamdulilah happy to be with the brothers, Muslim brothers in this place which is normally for people who are not believers. But, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: ”Inna l-‘Arda li-Llāhi Yūrithuhā Man Yashā’u Min ‘Ibādihi’’ “Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants.’’ (Qur’ān 07:128).
Land is for Allah, not for anybody. We are here just with His will. Our Rizq is here, we are here. We are not coming to take this with us to the next life. We are here only for a short while. For this, we are not saying, “This is for us” or “That is for this.”
Everywhere we go, we must remember this. Remember Allah ‘Azza waJalla; not forget ourselves, not forget for what Allah created us. Allah created us for worshipping Him, to accept Him, to show the way for people who are in need for this way. Don’t be like them. They must be like you. They must imitate you. What you have from knowledge, nobody has. Even if they have universities or other things, who doesn’t know his Creator is Jahil, ignorant. Who knows his Lord, his Creator Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, even if he doesn’t know how to write or to read, he is a knowledgeable one, an acceptable one; not from Jahil, not from ignorant ones. Ignorance is a very bad thing, the worst thing for human beings. Allah sent the first Ayah to Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam,

“Iqra’” Learn. This is the way of our Prophet. Whatever you learn: you learn mathematics, you learn architecture Yes, you can learn this, there’s no problem. But if you learn this without knowing the important thing, you are ignorant, you are Jahil.
So keep your belief strong. Our belief, Ahlu s-Sunnah walJama’ah: we believe in Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, Prophets, ‘Awliyau’Llah and Sahabah. All of this. We believe in Karamah of ‘Awliya and Mujizat (miracles) of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. This is our belief. If you leave any one of these, your belief will become weaker and weaker and weaker. After that, you will melt and go in this area. You will be nothing. But if you don’t melt, you will be light for others also, to be knowledgeable Insha Allah.
May Allah keep us with strong ‘Iman and with knowledge to know our Lord Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, to know ourselves, to know Allah ‘Azza waJallaInsha Allah.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: ‘‘InnaLlāha ma‘alladhīna ittaqawwalladhīna hum muḥsinūn’’ (Qur’ān 16:128). ‘‘Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good.’’ ṢadaqaLlāhu l-‘aẓīm.Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla said that Allah is with the believer who is doing everything according to Allah’s [pleasure] – Allah ‘Azza waJalla is mentioning in Qur’an ‘Azimush-Shan that Allah is with people who are afraid of Allah and do good things helping people. Allah is with these people. An important thing in this Ayah: Some people can do for show, but Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla knows what’s in your heart, what’s in our hearts.
For this, the first thing is to be for the sake of Allah’s happiness and what Allah likes to be in our heart. This is the first aim for the believer, for the Mu’min.
Especially for Tarīqah people, this is very important. Other people, in everything they do they are looking if people will be happy with them, or they’ll be famous, or people will follow them and look at what they are doing. All of this is not for the sake of Allah. They are doing this for the sake of their ego, for themselves. They think it will be of pleasure for them to do this. And of course, most of what they are doing is nonsense. It is of no benefit for anybody and of no benefit at all for them. The ben-

efit for them is they must know [how] to be sincere for Allah. And to do everything for the sake of Allah, not for the sake of their ego; to make their ego bigger and bigger and bigger. No, this is not good for human beings.
The way of Allah Alhamdulilah we are in this way, the way of Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam, the way of Ahlu l-Bayt and way of ‘Awliyau’Llah, believers. The way of Tarīqah is to make human beings train themselves and train their egos to be pure for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and pure for Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam. When you do this, you are not in need of anybody to be happy with you or not happy with you; this is not important. When Allah is happy with you, everybody will be happy with you. But if you are not happy with Allah ‘Azza waJalla, nobody will be interested in you. You are doing something for yourself, for your pleasure, for your ego. And this is the wrong way.
Our way Alhamdulilah is with following Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhiwasallam and all Sahabah, Ahlu l-Bayt and Madhhabs. Of course Alhamdulilah we are following the four Madhhabs, Ahlu s-Sunnah walJama’ah which is the way of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And of course in each Madhhab, there is easiness for some kind of people, and some kind of people are not familiar with that. There are four options, you can follow any one of them. Because all are accepted by ‘Ulama and are accepting Ahlu l-Bayt. And because they are accepting all Ahlu lBayt and all the Sahabah; not leaving anybody.
Don’t think that Ahlu l-Bayt are as these people are thinking: not following Shari’ah. They were the most strongly holding of Shari’ah. Even onceImam ‘A’zam, Imam Abu Hanifah, the Biggest Imam. They say ‘A’zam which means the Biggest Imam. Every scholar had been accepting this until nowadays. Ofcourse nowadays, there are many enemies for him because he is the strongest one against who are out of Shari’ah and nobody can beat him. When they are attacking him, this means they are attacking all of our belief, even attacking Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.He was – many people don’t know. They thought he is just

one like ‘Alim, like Sheikh, not knowing anything. He was from the beginning a very rich one and he traded with silk. He was very honest and didn’t accept anything Haram. Once his partner made something wrong. He sold something without knowing that something was wrong with it, and the man accepted it and took it. But he wasn’t happy with this. He said to his partner, “Give all this money for Sadaqah.” And after this also, because his partner was not careful, he left him. He was doing his business by himself. Then, he met one ‘Alim who told him “You must learn something.” After this, he was learning and left his business for somebody to look after it. He was not afraid from [saying] anything from reality. He was saying everything he knew and learned. He didn’t only learn Fiqh and other; he also knew medicine, mathematics, algebra. He knew everything. He was very brilliant. For this, they were calling him and his name was Imam ‘A’zam. He is a proof for everything.
So once of course these people have enemies. People are jealous from them and are every time making something against them for people not to love them. Once, he was in Makkah or Madinah. He saw Sayyidina Imam Muḥammad al-BāqirradiyaLlahu‘anhu, karrama Allahu wajhah. He saw him and said to him, “Who are you?”“Salam, I am Abu Hanifah.”Sayyidina Imam Muḥammad al-Bāqir was angry at him, telling him, “You are the one who is not accepting my grandfather’s Hadith and you are giving Fatwa for yourself. How dare you do this!” Abu Hanifah said, “Never! All my life is for Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wasallam. What you said is wrong! I came here to be dust here, for the end of my life to be here. I am following his Hadith. What I find in Hadith, I give. What I don’t find, I don’t give. And I’ll give you an example for this,” he said [continuing], “Who is the weakest: women or men?” He [al-Bāqir] said, “Women of course.”Sayyidina Imam al-Bāqir continued, “Of course women are weaker than men.” Sayyidina Abu Hanifah said, “In Qur’an it is said that for the woman inheritor there is the half, for men one. If I’m giving according to my ideas, it must be one for the woman and half for the man, because she is weaker.”

Sayyidina Abu Hanifah also said, “Is urine more dirty or is sperm more dirty?” He said, “Of course urine is more dirty. Sperm is clean because human beings are coming from it.” He said, “If urine is more dirty, so every time they urinate, they must make Ghusl. If you’re saying this according to your mentality or I’m saying this according to my mentality, it must be like this. Because if dirty, you must make Ghusl. But they are not making Ghusl every time after urinating. Only when sperm is coming, they must make Ghusl.”
And he asked also, “Which is more rewarded and is a strong ‘I’badah: praying or fasting?” Al-Bāqir said, “Of course praying because we are doing it everyday.” He said, “In Ramadan, when women have their period, she fasts after Ramadan to make up what she left. But for praying, she doesn’t make them up. For seven days or ten days [of the period], she doesn’t pray and she doesn’t make them up later. If it was according to my ideas, it is stronger to repeat [make up for] praying not fasting.” When Imam al-Bāqir heard this, he said, “I am very happy with you.” And he kissed him from his head.
This is what all Imams are: they are following very strongly. Even for Sayyidina Abu Hanifah who is Imam ‘A’zam they are not listening if ‘Imam ‘A’zam’ or ‘Not Imam ‘A’zam’. They are not listening at all. They are only looking at what he’s doing. Not affected by people who are saying this and saying that. No, they are strongly [following].
But of course those who are following the Imams, even Sunni people, think they are not [following Shari’ah] they were very very tough in following Shari’ah; not leaving anything. But people are not looking at this, they are only saying, “We are following Imam, all Imam, the 12 Imam.” The 12 Imam are not happy with what these people are doing. These people are not following. They are following what they like to follow. They imagine and think that these people are like them. No, they are giants. They cannot be like them. We must try to follow them as much as we can. And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives according to your intention.

We must depend on Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to support us and send good people for us also Insha Allah. We are very few people in big place, living with unbelievers. They are not accepting any religion and not accepting anything. Because of course most of them who have religion, their religion is not enough for them and they are hiding the good thing, and saying bad things about the good thing and not accepting. Because if they are accepting, all of this country will be believer and accept Allah. But when they do this, shaytan will not be happy and his followers will not be happy.
Allah [says] there is a time for everything. We are waiting with patience. Insha Allah all of this the whole world, not only here will Insha Allah be believers with Sayyidina Al-Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam. We are living in a time, it is really every day it is becoming more tight and more tight for believers. You cannot say anything and they are tying your hands, your legs, tying your head and everything. And after that, they are saying, “Come and wrestle with us.” How can we do! [Mawlana laughs].
But a time will come when all of this will open and insha’Allah the light of Islam, the light of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam will be from east to west, north to south Insha Allah. This is what Mawlana Sheikh was giving us good tidings about. And he was waiting for this. But Insha Allah we believe we will reach Insha Allah. Because everything is getting more difficult. There is one Qasidah that Mawlana Sheikh was saying,QasidahAl-Munfarijah:”,“Ishtaddi ‘AzmahTanfariji” “Difficulties intensify (aggravate) and so follows the opening.” This is a little bit of a long Qasidah. It means difficult times increase more and more and there becomes darkness, more oppression, more unbelief, more coming against Allah, coming against Prophet, coming against humanity; it comes, comes, and comes, until it reaches the top then after this it will finish Insha Allah.
They say, the darkest time is the night and after comes the light. And now we are really living in a time where it’s darkness everywhere. Nobody is happy. Everybody – even if they are living in a little bit better

country, people are not happy. They are anxious. If not from thinking about their family, then from thinking about other things: “What will happen? These people are coming here. These people are going there. These people are doing this.” Everybody, the whole world is in a situation of unhappiness. Of course it will be like this until the light comes Insha Allah. And after this there will be happiness Insha Allah. May Allah make these days come quickly before more difficulty comes Insha Allah, to reach these happy days Insha Allah. Because when you reach these happy days, it is happiness for here and for Akhirah also. The most important thing is Akhirah. May Allah help us. May Allah keep you and keep us safe in this Dunya.
You must be together, help each other and Insha Allah help poor people. As much as you help, Allah sends more. If you only think that what we have will finish, it finishes. But when you give, Allah gives you more Insha Allah. May Allah make our Dergahs more and more. As Mawlana Sheikh, ‘Aa’la Allahu Darajatih (May Allah increase his rank) said, Insha Allah his intention is for 40,000 Dergahs.
May Allah make each Dergah a center for light, for following the real Islam, following Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam, following Madhhabs, following Ahlu l-Bayt and following all Imams Insha Allah.

[…] island, many people don’t know where it is. But Alhamdulilah Allah made Nur ul-Islam (The Light of Islam) to go to a very far place. And from there to come here is also from Allah’s will. You are lucky people. You are chosen by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. To give good teaching for yourself and your family, to keep Islam.
To keep Islam is very difficult in this time. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhiwasallam is saying about the end of times,“The one holding onto the religion will be like grasping onto hot embers.” Who is practicing Islam and holding onto Islam is as catching fire in his hand. It is a very difficult time but Alhamdulilah who gets it must be thankful for Allah for what He gave him. To thank Allah for this Ni’mah that many people don’t have.
Don’t think this whole Dunya is worth anything in the Divine Presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It is nothing. Even not as the wing of a mosquito. The value of millions of mosquitoes is nothing. The whole Dunya isn’t worth not even the wings of all mosquitoes but one wing in the Divine Presence of Allah. For this, what you have from Iman, from Islam is the biggest Ni’mah, the biggest mercy, the biggest blessing from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for our people who are practicing and making a place for praying, making a place for teaching children Qur’an, teaching children

good manners, manners of Islam which is the best manners for human beings.
Of course, who do not believe, it is not good for them. Without seeing, they are saying this. But normally, who follows Islam, his life is good. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Man `Amila Şāliĥāan Min Dhakarin `Aw `Unthá Wa Huwa Mu`uminun Fala nuĥyiyannahu Ĥayāatan Ţayyibatan”, “Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer We will surely cause him to live a good life.” (Qur’ān 16:97). “Sweet life”, Allah Azza wa-Jalla said, “Goodlife.”And for Akhirah,”“Wal-Ākhiratu Khayr”,“While the Hereafter is better.” (Qur’ān 87:17) Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is also saying. Who follows the order of Allah and is going in His way, his life will be happy, sweet and easy. And for Akhirah, much better. This is the promise of Allah ‘Azza waJalla.“Inna AllāhaLā Yukhlifu Al-Mī`ād”, “Verily, Allah never breaks His Promise.” (Qur’ān 03:09) says Allah ‘Azza waJalla. ṢadaqaLlāhu l-‘aẓīm. When Allah promises, His promise is not like human beings. They promise and they don’t do. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s promise must be.
For this, an advice for human beings: don’t look for what your ego, what shaytan and what bad people want you to do. Do what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying. When you do what other people are saying and advising they are not advising for your benefit or other people’s, what they are advising is for the benefit of shaytan. Because what they advise is destroying human beings, destroying people: Muslims and nonMuslims; it is not different. They are doing harm. Even if non-Muslims are following the teaching of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, in the end they will be winners. Their life will be a better life. Everything will be better and with Barakah. Their health will be better and their spirituality will become better. And from this, maybe Allah will give Hidayah for them also.
Akhirah is the most important thing. In Dunya, many people are thinking they are happy. But in Dunya, nobody is happy, nobody is satisfied.

They want more things. They bring more and more and more to make themselves happy, to make themselves feel better. But each time comes another thing, “We want this. We want that.” Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, only earth can finish this greed in human beings. Without dying, even if he is a hundred years old, he still wants many things. He thinks he will be living forever.
These people who are not in the way of Allah cheat themselves and cheat others also. Because who is a believer knows that his way is to Akhirah. We are traveling to Akhirah. We are not sitting in our place. Even if we are sitting, the time is passing. This is our journey: going and going and going until we find Insha Allah our Lord with Iman. This is the most important thing; not Dunya. We are creatures of Allah. Allah created us and this is His will for us. By His will, we came to this world, to Dunya. And by His will, when our time comes, we will go to Him also. Coming from Him and going to Him also. This is very important.
Everything we do, every minute, every second, we must remember this. Dhikr means to remember. Ofcourse you say we mention “Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah”, but the real Dhikr is in your heart mentioning Allah all the time, remembering Allah all the time; not one second without Him. And this gives you reward from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in everything you are doing. Allah ‘Azza waJalla says in Hadith Qudsi that who remembers Him, is making his worshiping and coming [closer] more and more with Tasbih, Tahlil, Nafl prayers and charity, they become (more) nearer to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
Tarīqah is showing this way, not showing the bad thing. Many people are also cheating people, “Tarīqah is not good. They are not doing anything.” We are doing the most important thing. The other things, we are also doing. But when you do this most important thing when you do your business, your job, your work, everything you do you remember Allah, Allah also rewards you as you are worshipping. Because you are the whole time with Him, the whole time asking for His blessings. And Allah is Generous, He is giving His blessings.

He is not Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, ”WaLlāhu yad‘ūiládāri ssalām’’ “And Allah invites to the Home of Peace (i.e. Paradise).’’ (Qur’ān 10:25).
Allah calls you to His Paradise, to His Jannah. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is not greedy. If the whole universe is coming, Jannah/Paradise is enough for them. But people, by following their ego and what they desire, they are running away. Allah is calling, they are running. Allah is calling to Paradise, they are running to hell, to Jahannam. Running, giving money, running after these people, “Oh take us! Take us to hell!” This is what they are doing. Allah ‘Azza waJalla is saying, “Come to Paradise. Come to Me.” But very few people are listening to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Even who are believers, many of them are forgetting. They are imitating nonbelievers and imitating bad people.
We are asking Allah to protect us, to protect Muslims: young and old. All of them are living in a time, a very dangerous time for Iman, for everything. We are living a time, what Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wasallam called, the end of times. Many people are saying, “Oh for Qiyamah, there is a long time.” How do you say this and Qur’an Azimush-Shan says:‘‘Iqtarabatis-sā‘atu’,‘“TheHour has come near.’’ (Qur’ān 54:01). The time is coming closer. It is very near. This is from the time of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. So now it is more and more very near. And Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam showed by his fingers and said, “The time between me and Qiyamah is as close as the sun is ready to set after Asr.”
Qiyamah is very near. Don’t think it is far. You must be ready. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is also saying, “When the Mu’min dies, Qiyamah happens for him. Because when he dies, he then opens his eyes for Mah’shar.
But now, the reality also for the whole world is the end of time. Everything has reached its peak. They are not accepting Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, not accepting our Prophet, not accepting any good thing. Every bad

thing, they accept. Every good thing, they prevent, not accept. They want to destroy humanity. They want to destroy this earth. This is not human beings, this is shaytan.
But it is mentioned in the Hadiths of Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wasallam that this will be, “And after this will come one from my descendants, my grand grand son. He will fill the whole world justice, peace and Barakah.” Sayyidina AlMahdi alayhi s-salam. We are waiting for him. Insha’Allah very near. We hope Insha Allah we will meet him Insha Allah. To finish this Kufr from earth Insha Allah. May Allah help us. May Allah keep us safe and our children, Muslim children here and anywhere in the world. Now because they are in danger. They have everything coming until their houses, in their hands. They are under a big attack from this. Every house has this.
For this, we are asking. Our weapon is our prayers. “The weapon of the believer is Dua.” We must pray, make Dua asking protection from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May Allah protect us and protect our children and Muslim children also in the whole world Insha Allah. And we are asking and praying for Sayyidina Al-Mahdi to come and to save us from this. Because without him now shaytan controls everything, you cannot do anything.
May Allah save us Insha Allah.

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem.. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidal Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya RasulAllah, Madad Ya As’habi RasulAllah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Shaykh Abdullah Daghestani, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wakhayru fil jamiyya.
Ash-Shukrulilah, Alhamdulilah. We are thanking Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for making this trip happen to this country in a continent far away from our place. We are thanking Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for making us see what He created from beauty. Everything He creates is beauty. But for some places He gives more, and for some places less. This is His wisdom. But life, our life in Dunya, as we said yesterday, is temporary not permanent. For this, you must be thankful for Allah gave you. Every time, we be thankful for Him.
Of course, it is His will to take you from place to place, from country to country. If your provision is there, you must have it there. You cannot take it in your country. For this, you must be thankful for Allah every time, asking more rewards and more protection from our ego and from being cheated by this world. Ask protection from Allah because this is very important.
We are living in life, each step is full of traps. You don’t know what will happen. You cannot say after one hour what we will do. You don’t know what will happen. We are living just in this time. Next, Before and Now; three. As Sayyidina Jalāluddīn Rumi said, “Yesterday went. Today we are here. Tomorrowwe don’t know.” You must only be every minute you are in life, you must be thankful for Allah and be aware not

to do something that will make you unhappy forever. This is very important.
You don’t know at all. Nobody knows. Those who are scientists, scholars or others nobody can tell you what will happen tomorrow. Of course, they are saying, “There will be after a million years, after a billion years, something like this, something like that.” But this is also not sure. They are saying after a million years, yet they don’t know after one hour what will happen. Maybe after one hour, they won’t be in this world anymore.
The important thing is to know yourself. What are we? We are in the Hand of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is what you must know “Man A’rifaNafsahFaqadA’rifa Rabbah”, “Whoever knows himself, knows his Lord” says Sayyidina Muhyiddin Ibn Al-ʿArabī. Who knows himself, knows his Lord. Sometimes it is so difficult to understand this. Some people think that it is when they will know their Lord Allah ‘Azza waJalla. This means if you know you are nothing, you will know the Mightiness of your Lord Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is important. This is what we must know. Not know how is He doing this or what He is. No, this is not knowledge. You cannot reach this; what they are saying. But the real meaning is to know yourself that you are a servant for Him and He is your Lord. This is what Muhyiddin Ibn Al-ʿArabī is saying.
Sayyidina Ibn Al-ʿArabī is a great Sheikh. They call him “Sheikh ulAkbar”, “The Greatest Sheikh.” He was a scholar and he was Sufi. And many people are taking his words to another direction. Because it is difficult to understand him. And when you don’t understand him, you don’t go in the same direction, you might go directly to the opposite of his direction. Many people are taking his book and reading, but you must know what you read. And what you read, you must ask people who know this, real people. Because 99% from a thousand or from ten thousand people you can maybe find somebody to understand this. And the others, all of them are not understanding at all.

For this, we are asking Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to give us, support us from knowledge from His Divine Presence. Maybe if you understand two words, it’s better for you to read all the books of ‘Awliya or Ahlu Allah, who are great masters. Even if you are many people when sitting in front of Mawlana or Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani, they are never understanding anything from his Sohbahs, from his lectures. They are understanding, as we said, like what they are understanding from Sayyidina Muhyiddin Ibn Al-ʿArabī: the opposite direction. If not the opposite direction, also to the other side; not correct.
For this, don’t think who is not following Mawlana Sheikh Nazim and only listens to Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani is a great Awliya, a great Sheikh. No, don’t think this. This is also a trick from your ego, to make you finish what you get from blessings from these big Awliya, from them. You must be thankful for Allah that he made you listen to Mawlana Sheikh Nazim. Because he has the real understanding of Grand Sheikh, Sheikh Abdullah ad-Daghestani. Others, when they are saying something, they are making people confused and they are making people run away from reality. Because people know, more or less, what is Shari’ah and what is Tarīqah. And when somebody who doesn’t understand is talking, it becomes not good, it becomes bad.
There is an example story of this. Once one big scholar in Baghdad wanted to pass this big river in Baghdad. There was no bridge at that time, so they must go by a small boat. So he was going and he was proud, “This man was not knowing, he is ignorant.” He was asking about something. The one taking him to the other side said, “I don’t know”. The one running the boat. After a little while it is a big river also. So wind came and the boat began to shake and was about to sink. This poor man steering the boat asked him, “Do you know how to swim?” He said, “No.” He said, “Your whole life will be gone now.” He also said, “Half doctor makes you finish your life. Half ‘Alim makes you go to Jahannam.”
For this, we must be careful for this. This is very important: not to take from what we hear or what is said. We must take from a real one. Maw-

lana Sheikh Alhamdulilah has his books and videos everywhere. Many people who are not even interested in anything, they are looking now on this machine and saying how a great one he is! He was saying good things. Mawlana Sheikh has never said, “This is from me.” He every time says, “This is from Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah. From Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah.” But there are many people who say, “I was there. I was this. I was that.” But what happened is not good. What happened is bad.
Whoever is in Tarīqah must not give his idea (opinion) and not follow his ego. You must crush your ego. You must be humble. AlhamduliLlah we see many great scholars, great ‘Alims, when they are coming to Mawlana, they are humble, they are accepting, they are knowing who the real one is, who has knowledge, whom Allah gave real knowledge. They are accepting Awliyau’Llah, accepting Ulama, not giving anything for themselves. This is the teaching of Awliyau’Llah, teaching of Mashayikh. Because they are living, as we said in the beginning of the Sohbah, in this time, in the same time, not planning what will happen later. “If I say this, maybe people will not be happy with me. I will lose my students. I will lose this.” No, they are knowing and accepting because this is not for Dunya but for Akhirah. Your intention must be [for good] and you must also do by action sometimes. Many times your intention is maybe to do a good thing but you cannot do it. But what you can do, you must do without any fear from losing something. If you are thinking like this, you will lose everything. You lose everything you have if you do this.
This is our Tarīqah, our way. Tariqah Naqshbandiyya, all 40 Tarīqah are for humbleness. Others who are outside of Tarīqah are proud and are saying, “I am this. I am that. I am doctor. I am professor. I am this. I am that.” This is not from our Tarīqah. Mawlana Sheikh Nazim was all the time making fun at those who say, “I am doctor.” Somebody came to Mawlana saying, “I am doctor of Shari’ah.” Mawlana said [raising his sleeve], “Look at me here, at my pulse.” [Mawlana laughs] He said, “No, no, I’m not this doctor.” Mawlana said, “Oh really. What’s the

benefit of a doctor for Shari’ah. You give medicine for people for Shari’ah.” Sometimes shaytan makes people funny without them knowing they are doing a funny thing; they think they are doing good. If you are a doctor, you are a doctor, don’t say. You must know humbleness. If you know this, Allah will make you greater.
Whoever is humble for Allah, Allah Himself raises him. But when he raises himself by himself, Allah makes him down.May Allah keep us safe from our ego Insha Allah.
Alhamdulilah we are since three weeks [in Canada]. Allah gave real beauty and everything to this country. But people must be thankful for this and not forget Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and not come against Him. It is also a test. Sometimes Allah makes a test with a good thing. And sometimes making a test with a bad thing.
But here, Allah gave all of this and we must be thankful for Him. This is what He wants from us. But if “La`in Shakartum La’azīdannakum, WaLa`inKafartum `Inna `AdhābīLashadīdun”, “`If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe’.” (Qur’ān 14:07).“If you are not thankful and you come against Me, after this you will be unhappy. You will be in big trouble.”Even if you have everything [on the outside], it can be that Allah burns you from your inside. You are in Paradise but you are burning from the inside, you cannot feel any happiness, anything from this happiness. But maybe you can be like Sayyidina‘Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salam, he was in fire but it was like Paradise for him.
It is also like this for human beings. All the time in this world until the man or woman dies, it is like this. It is not your permanent place. It is only we are travelers. Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says “Travelers.” Maa Sha Allah I see sometimes we pray Seferi (Qasr Prayer during Travel) every time because we are Hanafi. We must for 15 days pray Seferi. After 15 days, we can pray 4 Rak’aat. But normally, we make Fard 2 Rak’aat. I saw new Muslims or who are not understanding,

they are praying 2 Rak’aat with us and making Salam. Once we asked one [who did this], “You are not a traveler!” He said, “No, no I am a traveler also! We are going to Akhirah!” [Mawlana laughs].
May Allah help us Insha Allah. Thank you for all of you for this. Our people made us feel very we made them tired. All the time, the whole 24 hours, making Khidmah, making service. Insha Allah this is for the sake of Allah. Allah rewards them Insha Allah.
