Do not harm and do not do harmful things. It is the order of Islam. Stay away from everything that brings harm. Stay away from it and don’t do it. Muslims do goodness to both themselves and others.
There is the matter of smoking which people don’t like [when talked about]. They harm themselves and they harm others. Smokers will get upset now, but we must say this. They must put effort and get rid of this addiction. It is a bizarre thing. It has originated from the dung of shaytan. It is a plant that came from vomit and dirt. Therefore, it is something that doesn’t have any benefit. It is 100% harm.
Shaytan has brought it as an affliction and made people love it. Whoever starts it hardly quits it. It is completely harmful. It is something without any benefit at all. It is something that has no benefit but harm to people, animals and everything. Let us not say Halal and Haram; it is something harmful. You must quit it. You must strive for this. Those who are enslaved by it must put effort in order to set themselves free.

They start with various cigarettes now, and they go further until drugs and heroin. There is an even worse addiction called hookah. They say it becomes less harmful by going through water, whereas it is more harmful. It is 100 times more harmful than cigarettes.
Therefore, guard and control your ego against such things. Quitting it in order to discipline your ego will bring great benefit Insha Allah. May Allah help them. It is difficult.
When youngsters blow it, they feel like emperors. They think they conquered the world. They think they did something very good when smoke comes out from their mouths and noses. They think they became men. They don’t realize they harm themselves, that they put a collar on their necks and become slaves. May Allah save and protect people. Do not make a compromise with your ego. When you say, “I will smoke one. I will smoke just a bit”, as we said, some people go much further. From all aspects, it is harmful.Shukr to Allah, the government is doing so much and imposes taxes. A pack of cigarettes costs almost like the amount of bread a family needs for a day. It is expensive. Yet, the poor and needy ones don’t eat and don’t drink water but smoke that poison. May Allah rescue them Insha Allah.
We mention this from time to time. It is even more important to quit it for people of Tariqah Insha Allah. Our Mashayikh used to talk much more strictly about cigarettes. As people are caught by so many addictions now, we talk about it from time to time. We must remind Insha Allah. May Allah save us.
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to say, “May it come from your nose.” It comes from their noses anyway. When they take it, they blow with their noses and mouths. What’s left is that it comes out from their ears.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Yā ‘Ayyuhā l-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū t-Taqū l-Llaha Wa Kūnū Ma’a s-Sādiqīn’’(Qur’ān 09:119). ‘‘O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with the truthful.’ SadaqaLlāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to believers, “Be with the truthful and righteous ones”. Fear Allah and be with them. Stay away from bad people. Stay away from those who are not on the way of Allah, because the heaviness and darkness that comes upon them will come to you. There is always darkness on people who are not on the way of Allah. That darkness just takes away the light. The darkness that we mean occurs in daylight too. Even though there is light during the day, people have darkness upon them. Only the light of Iman in Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla can remove that darkness.
Those who speak badly about Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and show lack of Adab towards Islam and Muslims have darkness upon them. It is not good to approach them. It is possible for the purpose of work, or when they ask for advice. Otherwise, if they mock you and talk nonsense, stay away from them. Be together with the good ones.“Allah’s Hand of Power is upon the Jama’ah and the community [Hadith]. This is also important. Believers must be together with believers. They should con-

sult and help each other. That brings more Barakah to believers and Muslims.
Nowadays, rebellion against Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and rebellion against all kinds of goodness are shown as if it is a skill. That is not a skill but only harm. So our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says:“The believer to another believer is like [the bricks of] a firm building.” SadaqaRasūluLlāh fi-ma Qal aw kamaQal (The Messenger of Allah has said the truth in what he said or as he said.) Believers support other believers. They are like solid walls of a castle. When alone, perhaps, there are things they don’t know. When they are together with those who don’t believe in Allah, who don’t do what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla orders and who go against Him, they may get harmed by them when they’re on their own.
Therefore, stay away from them and be together with those who have Iman“KūnūMa’a s-Sādiqīn”“Be with the truthful.” (Qur’ān 09:119). This is an order. Be together with the truthful and righteous ones. May Allah make us all be with them. May Allah give guidance to the bad ones Insha Allah.

Madad Ya RasuluLlah sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says when Allah wants to make someone do something, He takes his mind. The person does it and when he comes back to his senses, he wonders how he did these things. All kinds of things both worldly things and things of Akhirah are like this.
There are some things that people get surprised at how they did them. That is by the will of Allah. That thing happens and when people come back to their senses they regret doing it, of course. They wonder how they did it. However, that is the will of Allah. Nevertheless, people who regret doing something when they do something bad, if they repent and revert from it, they will earn rewards and Thawab. If not, if they say, “I did right even though I did it without knowing. I did right as I don’t make mistakes”, they will get their punishment.
This is certainly the wisdom of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, something that Allah ‘Azza waJalla knows. Everything has a wisdom in it. The mind cannot access the wisdom of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The mind cannot reach it. Do not ask why. Submit yourself.
As our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says “Even I recite Astaghfirullah, Tawbah Astaghfirullah 70 times a day.” Our Holy

Prophet doesn’t have any sins. As we have recited in Surat Al-Fath a while ago, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “We have forgiven your past and future sins”. Even though our Holy Prophet didn’t have sins, he recited it. So we have to make Istighfar all the time, because we always make mistakes, do wrong and sin being aware or unaware of it. And as we do it, we repent. We regret it. So it is cleaned and gone then. Repentance and forgiveness clean and remove it.
People should not be stubborn. They should not be arrogant. They must bow down to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They must be in disgrace in front of Allah. People who are in disgrace in front of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla are honored. People who are in disgrace in front of people have no use. Disgrace is in front of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. In front of the Greatness and Magnificence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla we are disgraced, minor, sinful people. People must say so and always ask for forgiveness. They will attain the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza waJalla then.
Allah doesn’t like arrogance. He likes being begged and asked for forgiveness. He grants it and He changes the committed sins to Thawab. The sins you committed turn into benefit when repent. This is the Greatness and Magnificence of Allah ‘Azza waJalla. It is His Mercy to people. Even if they do something unknowingly but then repent and ask for forgiveness, that badness turns into goodness and beauty.
May Allah protect us from doing things knowingly and unknowingly. And may Allah forgive us Insha Allah. May He not let us get rid of this beautiful character.
Allah loves At-Tawwabeen, those who seek repentance and ask forgiveness. May He make all of us from those beloved servants Insha Allah.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “WaLaqad `Ađalla Minkum Jibillāan Kathīrāanۖ `Afalam TakūnūTa`qilūn’’(Qur’ān 36:62).”And he (satan) had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not understand?’’ SadaqaLlāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
“Shaytan has cheated a lot of people. Where is your mind? How are you even thinking?” says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in Qur’an ‘Azimush-Shan. When there is no mind, everyone does something as they like. And then they don’t accept others saying, “That is the right thing.” They accept only what they do as right.Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave mind to people. While so many people, scholars, ‘Ulama, the most intelligent people have been going on the right way since the time of our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until the present time, a Firqa (group) appears in the end, of course after the Ottomans, and tells people “You are not on the right way. All of you are Mushrik, you are this and that.” They confuse people and make Waswasa. This is the direct work of shaytan, work of people who are captivated by shaytan. We must be careful. If you think you are doing right, you are actually destroying yourself. You are going astray from the way and falling into heresy.There are many things. Men have a long beard, wear robes and have uncovered heads. Blessed Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to call them squash heads. Whereas covering your head is Sunnah. Wearing a turban

is even more virtuous. But an uncovered head is not good. That doesn’t comply with either Sunnah, or Mustahabb, or Wajib. It doesn’t comply with anything. Also, they open their legs wide while standing [in prayer] as if they are relieving nature, ḥāshā mina l-ḥuḍūr. They open their legs wide. Whereas opening them so widely is neither from Sunnah nor anything. We don’t know where they took it from.Allah‘Azza wa-Jalla is showing that they are not on the right way through such things, even to themselves. Shukr to Allah, Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama’ah and people of Tariqah are going step by step following all the steps of our Holy Prophet Insha Allah. We are doing as much as we can. And may Allah forgive us for things we cannot do. We cannot do everything. But we don’t accept things that are Bid’ah.
Many people do this without realizing it. Shukr to Allah, we don’t have it much in Turkey. But it is widespread outside in non-Muslim countries, because it is unclear who is a scholar and who is an oppressor there. They say they are Muslim and do what they do. They open their legs wide in a bad posture, ḥāshā mina l-ḥuḍūr. Their heads are uncovered, with beards but without moustaches.There is a lot of such things which are not in the religion. They are practicing them as if they are in the religion. That is what means Bid’ah. They are Bid’ah. They say to Muslims that they make Bid’ah, whereas they make Bid’ah themselves. “If you make Salawat, it is Bid’ah. If you visit a tomb and recite there, it is Bid’ah”. Whereas all of these are Sunnah in fact. But they are showing them as bad to you. And they are showing you bad things as good. May Allah protect us.Muslims must be cautious about these things. We must warn people who do this unknowingly to be cautious. Showing things that are not in the religion as if they are in the religion is a wrongdoing. Doing them knowingly is a sin and doing them unknowingly is a wrongdoing. May Allah protect us from these people and the evil of shaytan. May Allah protect us from the evil of this Fitnah Insha Allah.

There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Dalail Al-Khayrat, Salawat, Tahlilat, Takbirat and Tasbihat.
In particular, one of our brothers read ten Khatms yesterday.
We gift all of them to the soul of his Shaykh Abdul Baki Efendi, and especially to the soul of our Holy Prophet, his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, the souls of all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya and Mashayikh, the soul of our Shaykh Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, the souls of our late relatives, souls of all Muslims and Mu’mins.
With the intention of goodness to come and evil to be gone, for the strength of our Iman Insha Allah, with the intention to be on the right way, on the way of Haqq.

Our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam taught us everything. Following HisSunnah is beneficial for both Dunya and Akhirah. They are the good, beneficial and accepted deeds in the presence of Allah His way is a beautiful way.
Our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam told about everything. He told about matters of this world, how people should act and what they should do. One of them is that he says, “Do not stay under sun for too long”. Sun is beneficial. But when it is too much, without protection or anything [of clothes] on you, that benefit turns into harm.
Sometimes even Dhuhr prayers; in the holy place of Madina Munawwarah there were no tents and canopies in old times. They used to wait until a shade came and prayed a little later. Of course, we don’t need that much now.
But people of Dunya want to stay under the sun in a wrong way to get a tan or I don’t know what. So what if you get tanned as long as you don’t change from the inside? You got tanned, became red, black or dark that has no benefit. This is the useless activity of people of Dunya. What’s useful is to benefit from everything for the pleasure of Allah. Do what is beneficial. When the benefit turns into harm, leave that thing.

This is what our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam says. Don’t harm yourself and don’t harm your Akhirah for Dunya, our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says.
People think the more they do of something in this world, the more they will be pleased and happy. People of Dunya who think they will satisfy themselves more resort to many things that bring no benefit but harm at last. What they see as beneficial and good becomes harmful. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla put benefit in everything. You must know how to use it. And that is only by following the way of our Holy ProphetsallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Otherwise, there is something new every day. People say it is very good and run after it. They say it is not good the next day and leave it. If people use or do it with adjustment, it will be good. But when they overdo it, its benefit turns into harm. May Allah give mind and understanding to people. May they see the right way. And the right way is the way of our Holy Prophet with the permission of Allah.
May Allah give true strong Iman to all of us Insha Allah.

Our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says: “Speak good or remain silent.”
Always speak good things, because all the words you say are written down. Whatever you do, it is written down. There are angels on the left and on the right. The one on the right writes good deeds and the one on the left writes bad deeds and sins.
Therefore, don’t think you came to this world for nothing. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: ‘‘Afaĥasibtum ‘Annamā Khalaqnākum`Abathāan Wa ‘Annakum ‘IlaynāLāTurja`ūn’’ ‘‘Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?’’ (Qur’ān 23:115).
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “We didn’t create you for nothing”. Certainly, everything you do will confront you one by one on Judgment Day.
Therefore, always do good things and speak good things. If you speak bad things, repent and ask for forgiveness for that so that they don’t confront you. Let the good deeds confront you so that you attain goodness. No harm comes from goodness. Harm always comes from badness, from bad things.

Things that have no benefit to people but harm are from shaytan. In order to mislead people from the way, shaytan went against Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and said this.
Therefore, don’t make shaytan happy. The more you do bad things or speak badly, the happier shaytan is. No need to make shaytan happy. Making him happy will upset you later. It will come up as evil for you. It will come up as punishment. You will see its harm both here and hereafter. May Allah protect us.
This time we are living in is the end of times. If you tell everything you hear, that is the proof that a man is an idiot. Sayyidina ‘Ali says this. A sign of the idiocy of someone is when he believes everything he hears, accepts it as truth and tells others. We have to be careful. There are many liars, there are many slanderers. If you go along with them, you will commit a sin and will bring trouble on yourself for no reason. May Allah protect us.
It is the world of lies. With or without personal interest, people say things and slander others. Slander is a big sin. Who does it will get his punishment unless he repents and asks for forgiveness.
May Allah protect us. May Allah keep all of us away from lies and slander Insha Allah.

There is a saying, the sun cannot be plastered with wet clay. What does it mean? No matter how much you try to conceal the truth, it will come to the surface. And the truth is the light of Islam, the sun of Islam. In order for people to stay away from it, they are doing all kinds of tricks and evil. They want to cover it so that people don’t look at it. In order for people not to listen to it, they do everything they can.
As long as Allah wants it, this light will be apparent. Whoever tries it and gets its taste asks for this light. Everyone surely wants this light to appear inside them. Because this light is the light of Allah ‘Azza waJalla. It is the beauty of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Therefore, no matter how much they try to cover it, it appears by the wisdom of Allah. And even when those who claim to be the biggest enemies hear about it, they accept it.
This has been the same since old times, since the time of our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until now. When Sayyidina ‘Umar radiyAllahu ‘anhu was coming to kill our Holy Prophet, he heard these beautiful words and became Muslim straight away. There were many Mushriks. When they heard these holy words of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla about Islam, with the Barakah of Qur’an ‘Azimush-Shan of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, they became Muslim and found the truth.It is the same with

the people of the present time. But certainly, the time we are living now is the time of the second Jahiliyyah (Ignorance). It is worse. The first Jahiliyyah was better than this one. Now it is worse. They think they will conceal it and no one will love it. They think no one will care about it and will run away from it. However, when Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives a chance, the light in their hearts accepts it immediately. And no matter how much enmity they have, they leave this enmity and become friends of Allah.
The best thing for people is the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We should ask why we were created. A non-Muslim lady asked this yesterday: why were we created? It is a good thought why were we created? Allah gave mind and understanding. Animals don’t think why they were created. They eat and drink and live by like that. But people must think about it: why we were created.
We were created to be on the way of Allah. Our goal is to be on the way of Allah and to attain the pleasure of Allah. May Allah let everyone be on this beautiful way. May He make them steadfast. May they not be cheated, because Allah gave them a beautiful favor, the favor of Islam, the beautiful favor of Iman, and they were born Muslim. The rest became so later. We ask that Allah gives guidance to them.
May Allah give guidance to everyone Insha Allah so that they are on this right way.

EGO AND THE WAY OF HAQQ Tuesday, 15 August 2023 / 28 Muharram 1445 Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah.

Mankindwant to obey their egos more. The way shown by the ego seems sweet to them. They want to go on that way. They say it is easy. People who say, “It is an easy way. My ego loves it. My ego doesn’t go against me so let me go this way together with it” and go on the way of the ego are separated from the true way.
The true way is the opposition against the ego and not doing what it wants. The true way, the way of Haqq is the way that trains it and guarantees it follows you. This way leads you to happiness. You will not be ashamed in Dunya and you will be saved from punishment and hell in Akhirah. Otherwise, people who run after their egos will be ashamed in Dunya and will certainly go to hell in Akhirah unless they repent. If they repent, certainly Allah will forgive them. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is forgiving. Who walks on His way will be saved. And who goes astray from this way will perish.
There are many people who say they make a living as ‘Alims, but they obey their egos. Whatever their egos tell them, they tell it to people. They will have more suffering. It is more for each person they mislead from the way. Whether it is one or more people, for each person Allah will give them punishment.Therefore, this way is a beautiful way, the way of Tariqah. It shows the truth. Ways with true Murshids bring sal-

vation. Shukr to Allah, all ways of Tariqah reach our Holy Prophet if there are true Murshids. The rest who obey their egos, people who serve not for the benefit of people but for their personal interest will certainly be punished. Allah will not skip anyone’s account.
As we said, Allah is forgiving. If mistaken people repent and ask for forgiveness, they will be saved. If they don’t, they will have given themselves their punishment then. May Allah protect us from obeying our egos, from acting according to our egos.
May Allah protect us from misleading other people from the way.

They must put effort and get rid of this addiction. It is a bizarre thing. It has originated from the dung of shaytan. It is a plant that came from vomit and dirt. Therefore, it is something that doesn’t have any benefit. It is 100% harm.
Shaytan has brought it as an affliction and made people love it. Whoever starts it hardly quits it. It is completely harmful. It is something without any benefit at all. It is something that has no benefit but harm to people, animals and everything. Let us not say Halal and Haram; it is something harmful. You must quit it. You must strive for this. Those who are enslaved by it must put effort in order to set themselves free.

They start with various cigarettes now, and they go further until drugs and heroin. There is an even worse addiction called hookah. They say it becomes less harmful by going through water, whereas it is more harmful. It is 100 times more harmful than cigarettes.
Therefore, guard and control your ego against such things. Quitting it in order to discipline your ego will bring great benefit Insha Allah. May Allah help them. It is difficult.
When youngsters blow it, they feel like emperors. They think they conquered the world. They think they did something very good when smoke comes out from their mouths and noses. They think they became men. They don’t realize they harm themselves, that they put a collar on their necks and become slaves. May Allah save and protect people. Do not make a compromise with your ego. When you say, “I will smoke one. I will smoke just a bit”, as we said, some people go much further. From all aspects, it is harmful.Shukr to Allah, the government is doing so much and imposes taxes. A pack of cigarettes costs almost like the amount of bread a family needs for a day. It is expensive. Yet, the poor and needy ones don’t eat and don’t drink water but smoke that poison. May Allah rescue them Insha Allah.
We mention this from time to time. It is even more important to quit it for people of Tariqah Insha Allah. Our Mashayikh used to talk much more strictly about cigarettes. As people are caught by so many addictions now, we talk about it from time to time. We must remind Insha Allah. May Allah save us.
Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to say, “May it come from your nose.” It comes from their noses anyway. When they take it, they blow with their noses and mouths. What’s left is that it comes out from their ears.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “Yā ‘Ayyuhā l-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū t-Taqū l-Llaha Wa Kūnū Ma’a s-Sādiqīn’’(Qur’ān 09:119). ‘‘O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with the truthful.’ SadaqaLlāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to believers, “Be with the truthful and righteous ones”. Fear Allah and be with them. Stay away from bad people. Stay away from those who are not on the way of Allah, because the heaviness and darkness that comes upon them will come to you. There is always darkness on people who are not on the way of Allah. That darkness just takes away the light. The darkness that we mean occurs in daylight too. Even though there is light during the day, people have darkness upon them. Only the light of Iman in Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla can remove that darkness.
Those who speak badly about Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and show lack of Adab towards Islam and Muslims have darkness upon them. It is not good to approach them. It is possible for the purpose of work, or when they ask for advice. Otherwise, if they mock you and talk nonsense, stay away from them. Be together with the good ones.“Allah’s Hand of Power is upon the Jama’ah and the community [Hadith]. This is also important. Believers must be together with believers. They should con-

sult and help each other. That brings more Barakah to believers and Muslims.
Nowadays, rebellion against Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and rebellion against all kinds of goodness are shown as if it is a skill. That is not a skill but only harm. So our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says:“The believer to another believer is like [the bricks of] a firm building.” SadaqaRasūluLlāh fi-ma Qal aw kamaQal (The Messenger of Allah has said the truth in what he said or as he said.) Believers support other believers. They are like solid walls of a castle. When alone, perhaps, there are things they don’t know. When they are together with those who don’t believe in Allah, who don’t do what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla orders and who go against Him, they may get harmed by them when they’re on their own.
Therefore, stay away from them and be together with those who have Iman“KūnūMa’a s-Sādiqīn”“Be with the truthful.” (Qur’ān 09:119). This is an order. Be together with the truthful and righteous ones. May Allah make us all be with them. May Allah give guidance to the bad ones Insha Allah.

Madad Ya RasuluLlah sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says when Allah wants to make someone do something, He takes his mind. The person does it and when he comes back to his senses, he wonders how he did these things. All kinds of things both worldly things and things of Akhirah are like this.
There are some things that people get surprised at how they did them. That is by the will of Allah. That thing happens and when people come back to their senses they regret doing it, of course. They wonder how they did it. However, that is the will of Allah. Nevertheless, people who regret doing something when they do something bad, if they repent and revert from it, they will earn rewards and Thawab. If not, if they say, “I did right even though I did it without knowing. I did right as I don’t make mistakes”, they will get their punishment.
This is certainly the wisdom of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, something that Allah ‘Azza waJalla knows. Everything has a wisdom in it. The mind cannot access the wisdom of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The mind cannot reach it. Do not ask why. Submit yourself.
As our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says “Even I recite Astaghfirullah, Tawbah Astaghfirullah 70 times a day.” Our Holy

Prophet doesn’t have any sins. As we have recited in Surat Al-Fath a while ago, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “We have forgiven your past and future sins”. Even though our Holy Prophet didn’t have sins, he recited it. So we have to make Istighfar all the time, because we always make mistakes, do wrong and sin being aware or unaware of it. And as we do it, we repent. We regret it. So it is cleaned and gone then. Repentance and forgiveness clean and remove it.
People should not be stubborn. They should not be arrogant. They must bow down to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They must be in disgrace in front of Allah. People who are in disgrace in front of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla are honored. People who are in disgrace in front of people have no use. Disgrace is in front of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. In front of the Greatness and Magnificence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla we are disgraced, minor, sinful people. People must say so and always ask for forgiveness. They will attain the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza waJalla then.
Allah doesn’t like arrogance. He likes being begged and asked for forgiveness. He grants it and He changes the committed sins to Thawab. The sins you committed turn into benefit when repent. This is the Greatness and Magnificence of Allah ‘Azza waJalla. It is His Mercy to people. Even if they do something unknowingly but then repent and ask for forgiveness, that badness turns into goodness and beauty.
May Allah protect us from doing things knowingly and unknowingly. And may Allah forgive us Insha Allah. May He not let us get rid of this beautiful character.
Allah loves At-Tawwabeen, those who seek repentance and ask forgiveness. May He make all of us from those beloved servants Insha Allah.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: “WaLaqad `Ađalla Minkum Jibillāan Kathīrāanۖ `Afalam TakūnūTa`qilūn’’(Qur’ān 36:62).”And he (satan) had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not understand?’’ SadaqaLlāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
“Shaytan has cheated a lot of people. Where is your mind? How are you even thinking?” says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in Qur’an ‘Azimush-Shan. When there is no mind, everyone does something as they like. And then they don’t accept others saying, “That is the right thing.” They accept only what they do as right.Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave mind to people. While so many people, scholars, ‘Ulama, the most intelligent people have been going on the right way since the time of our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until the present time, a Firqa (group) appears in the end, of course after the Ottomans, and tells people “You are not on the right way. All of you are Mushrik, you are this and that.” They confuse people and make Waswasa. This is the direct work of shaytan, work of people who are captivated by shaytan. We must be careful. If you think you are doing right, you are actually destroying yourself. You are going astray from the way and falling into heresy.There are many things. Men have a long beard, wear robes and have uncovered heads. Blessed Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to call them squash heads. Whereas covering your head is Sunnah. Wearing a turban

is even more virtuous. But an uncovered head is not good. That doesn’t comply with either Sunnah, or Mustahabb, or Wajib. It doesn’t comply with anything. Also, they open their legs wide while standing [in prayer] as if they are relieving nature, ḥāshā mina l-ḥuḍūr. They open their legs wide. Whereas opening them so widely is neither from Sunnah nor anything. We don’t know where they took it from.Allah‘Azza wa-Jalla is showing that they are not on the right way through such things, even to themselves. Shukr to Allah, Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama’ah and people of Tariqah are going step by step following all the steps of our Holy Prophet Insha Allah. We are doing as much as we can. And may Allah forgive us for things we cannot do. We cannot do everything. But we don’t accept things that are Bid’ah.
Many people do this without realizing it. Shukr to Allah, we don’t have it much in Turkey. But it is widespread outside in non-Muslim countries, because it is unclear who is a scholar and who is an oppressor there. They say they are Muslim and do what they do. They open their legs wide in a bad posture, ḥāshā mina l-ḥuḍūr. Their heads are uncovered, with beards but without moustaches.There is a lot of such things which are not in the religion. They are practicing them as if they are in the religion. That is what means Bid’ah. They are Bid’ah. They say to Muslims that they make Bid’ah, whereas they make Bid’ah themselves. “If you make Salawat, it is Bid’ah. If you visit a tomb and recite there, it is Bid’ah”. Whereas all of these are Sunnah in fact. But they are showing them as bad to you. And they are showing you bad things as good. May Allah protect us.Muslims must be cautious about these things. We must warn people who do this unknowingly to be cautious. Showing things that are not in the religion as if they are in the religion is a wrongdoing. Doing them knowingly is a sin and doing them unknowingly is a wrongdoing. May Allah protect us from these people and the evil of shaytan. May Allah protect us from the evil of this Fitnah Insha Allah.

There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Dalail Al-Khayrat, Salawat, Tahlilat, Takbirat and Tasbihat.
In particular, one of our brothers read ten Khatms yesterday.
We gift all of them to the soul of his Shaykh Abdul Baki Efendi, and especially to the soul of our Holy Prophet, his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, the souls of all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya and Mashayikh, the soul of our Shaykh Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, the souls of our late relatives, souls of all Muslims and Mu’mins.
With the intention of goodness to come and evil to be gone, for the strength of our Iman Insha Allah, with the intention to be on the right way, on the way of Haqq.

Our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam taught us everything. Following HisSunnah is beneficial for both Dunya and Akhirah. They are the good, beneficial and accepted deeds in the presence of Allah His way is a beautiful way.
Our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam told about everything. He told about matters of this world, how people should act and what they should do. One of them is that he says, “Do not stay under sun for too long”. Sun is beneficial. But when it is too much, without protection or anything [of clothes] on you, that benefit turns into harm.
Sometimes even Dhuhr prayers; in the holy place of Madina Munawwarah there were no tents and canopies in old times. They used to wait until a shade came and prayed a little later. Of course, we don’t need that much now.
But people of Dunya want to stay under the sun in a wrong way to get a tan or I don’t know what. So what if you get tanned as long as you don’t change from the inside? You got tanned, became red, black or dark that has no benefit. This is the useless activity of people of Dunya. What’s useful is to benefit from everything for the pleasure of Allah. Do what is beneficial. When the benefit turns into harm, leave that thing.

This is what our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu‘alayhi wa-sallam says. Don’t harm yourself and don’t harm your Akhirah for Dunya, our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says.
People think the more they do of something in this world, the more they will be pleased and happy. People of Dunya who think they will satisfy themselves more resort to many things that bring no benefit but harm at last. What they see as beneficial and good becomes harmful. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla put benefit in everything. You must know how to use it. And that is only by following the way of our Holy ProphetsallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Otherwise, there is something new every day. People say it is very good and run after it. They say it is not good the next day and leave it. If people use or do it with adjustment, it will be good. But when they overdo it, its benefit turns into harm. May Allah give mind and understanding to people. May they see the right way. And the right way is the way of our Holy Prophet with the permission of Allah.
May Allah give true strong Iman to all of us Insha Allah.

Our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says: “Speak good or remain silent.”
Always speak good things, because all the words you say are written down. Whatever you do, it is written down. There are angels on the left and on the right. The one on the right writes good deeds and the one on the left writes bad deeds and sins.
Therefore, don’t think you came to this world for nothing. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem: ‘‘Afaĥasibtum ‘Annamā Khalaqnākum`Abathāan Wa ‘Annakum ‘IlaynāLāTurja`ūn’’ ‘‘Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?’’ (Qur’ān 23:115).
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “We didn’t create you for nothing”. Certainly, everything you do will confront you one by one on Judgment Day.
Therefore, always do good things and speak good things. If you speak bad things, repent and ask for forgiveness for that so that they don’t confront you. Let the good deeds confront you so that you attain goodness. No harm comes from goodness. Harm always comes from badness, from bad things.

Things that have no benefit to people but harm are from shaytan. In order to mislead people from the way, shaytan went against Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and said this.
Therefore, don’t make shaytan happy. The more you do bad things or speak badly, the happier shaytan is. No need to make shaytan happy. Making him happy will upset you later. It will come up as evil for you. It will come up as punishment. You will see its harm both here and hereafter. May Allah protect us.
This time we are living in is the end of times. If you tell everything you hear, that is the proof that a man is an idiot. Sayyidina ‘Ali says this. A sign of the idiocy of someone is when he believes everything he hears, accepts it as truth and tells others. We have to be careful. There are many liars, there are many slanderers. If you go along with them, you will commit a sin and will bring trouble on yourself for no reason. May Allah protect us.
It is the world of lies. With or without personal interest, people say things and slander others. Slander is a big sin. Who does it will get his punishment unless he repents and asks for forgiveness.
May Allah protect us. May Allah keep all of us away from lies and slander Insha Allah.

There is a saying, the sun cannot be plastered with wet clay. What does it mean? No matter how much you try to conceal the truth, it will come to the surface. And the truth is the light of Islam, the sun of Islam. In order for people to stay away from it, they are doing all kinds of tricks and evil. They want to cover it so that people don’t look at it. In order for people not to listen to it, they do everything they can.
As long as Allah wants it, this light will be apparent. Whoever tries it and gets its taste asks for this light. Everyone surely wants this light to appear inside them. Because this light is the light of Allah ‘Azza waJalla. It is the beauty of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Therefore, no matter how much they try to cover it, it appears by the wisdom of Allah. And even when those who claim to be the biggest enemies hear about it, they accept it.
This has been the same since old times, since the time of our Holy Prophet sallaLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until now. When Sayyidina ‘Umar radiyAllahu ‘anhu was coming to kill our Holy Prophet, he heard these beautiful words and became Muslim straight away. There were many Mushriks. When they heard these holy words of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla about Islam, with the Barakah of Qur’an ‘Azimush-Shan of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, they became Muslim and found the truth.It is the same with

the people of the present time. But certainly, the time we are living now is the time of the second Jahiliyyah (Ignorance). It is worse. The first Jahiliyyah was better than this one. Now it is worse. They think they will conceal it and no one will love it. They think no one will care about it and will run away from it. However, when Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives a chance, the light in their hearts accepts it immediately. And no matter how much enmity they have, they leave this enmity and become friends of Allah.
The best thing for people is the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We should ask why we were created. A non-Muslim lady asked this yesterday: why were we created? It is a good thought why were we created? Allah gave mind and understanding. Animals don’t think why they were created. They eat and drink and live by like that. But people must think about it: why we were created.
We were created to be on the way of Allah. Our goal is to be on the way of Allah and to attain the pleasure of Allah. May Allah let everyone be on this beautiful way. May He make them steadfast. May they not be cheated, because Allah gave them a beautiful favor, the favor of Islam, the beautiful favor of Iman, and they were born Muslim. The rest became so later. We ask that Allah gives guidance to them.
May Allah give guidance to everyone Insha Allah so that they are on this right way.

EGO AND THE WAY OF HAQQ Tuesday, 15 August 2023 / 28 Muharram 1445 Fajr Prayer, Akbaba Dergah.

Mankindwant to obey their egos more. The way shown by the ego seems sweet to them. They want to go on that way. They say it is easy. People who say, “It is an easy way. My ego loves it. My ego doesn’t go against me so let me go this way together with it” and go on the way of the ego are separated from the true way.
The true way is the opposition against the ego and not doing what it wants. The true way, the way of Haqq is the way that trains it and guarantees it follows you. This way leads you to happiness. You will not be ashamed in Dunya and you will be saved from punishment and hell in Akhirah. Otherwise, people who run after their egos will be ashamed in Dunya and will certainly go to hell in Akhirah unless they repent. If they repent, certainly Allah will forgive them. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is forgiving. Who walks on His way will be saved. And who goes astray from this way will perish.
There are many people who say they make a living as ‘Alims, but they obey their egos. Whatever their egos tell them, they tell it to people. They will have more suffering. It is more for each person they mislead from the way. Whether it is one or more people, for each person Allah will give them punishment.Therefore, this way is a beautiful way, the way of Tariqah. It shows the truth. Ways with true Murshids bring sal-

vation. Shukr to Allah, all ways of Tariqah reach our Holy Prophet if there are true Murshids. The rest who obey their egos, people who serve not for the benefit of people but for their personal interest will certainly be punished. Allah will not skip anyone’s account.
As we said, Allah is forgiving. If mistaken people repent and ask for forgiveness, they will be saved. If they don’t, they will have given themselves their punishment then. May Allah protect us from obeying our egos, from acting according to our egos.
May Allah protect us from misleading other people from the way.
